Chapter 39

All I want to do is to allow things to work out for all of us. While we waste time and energy and blood fighting ourselves it is better for us to recognise the real enemy. oh yes there is this real enemy that all of us should be focusing on. There is this one common enemy that all of us have in mind that it comes to our very before. We are not going to continue like this, we are not going to continue this way because it is not what we are known for. You all have succeeded in what you did here and what else we are not going to allow these things to happen is because we are set. Let us join hands together and do what needs to be done. We are missing it if we keep fighting ourselves, if we keep making it hard for ourselves, if we keep being each other's enemy, if we keep doing to ourselves and think that we are doing to others. This major reason that made me to come here to meet with you all is still the same reason that will make me to say this same thing to others of our kind. Let us look on and see for ourselves without being blinded once again that our real enemies are those enemies that are making things hard for us. We need to sit up and make sure that we are able to fight what fights us. We are not going to allow things to become the reason we are not being told what we must do. We are no longer children that need to be tossed back and forth and told what to do. We are now meant to come together and fight for what belongs to us. Enough is enough.

Now having said this I am not going to say that we must achieve this by violence, no, we are not going to achieve this by violence instead we are going to look on and do what must be done in order to make sure that nothing becomes a problem. There is someone that you all are calling your leaders but there is fear in your hearts as you are calling him your leader. This is not supposed to be so and this is one of the major if not the only reason I have decided that Aboro permits me to have a face to face address with you all. You must stop fearing him and start to believe in him. He is no longer the person that you all knew before now, I mean he is a different person now and it might sound like this that I am saying is not true but it is true and it only demands that you all find a way to ensure that things like this go as planned. He is not your enemy that is after your happiness, no, not your enemy that is after your happiness, instead he is a friend that is after your well being. He might have made many things wrong in the past but now he is so eager to make them right and the only thing that he keeps asking of you all is that you help him become a better person. Please and please, if it has to be that I step down from this platform so that you all can hear him out by yourself then that is what I am going to do"

One of the soldiers who already got tired of showing how shocked he was said to Rira, "I am not against that you are standing there but what I am against is speaking so little of our leader Aboro. I am not sure you know what you are saying when you're u say that Aboro permitted you to stand there and be doing what you like. You had better get down from that table and desist from repeating what you have just done".. Ofcouse Aboro knew that the man said those words because he was very much scared. He did not know what else to do but to do what Rira had said that he might do; to address them by himself, maybe that might reassure them that he was not actually a bad person any longer. He made a sign to Rira and Rira got down from the table and Aboro climbed it. When he had stood there he looked at the people and then sighed deeply. He placed both hands on his waist and sighed again but this time around he was about to start to address them.

"My people, first of all I know that it was not in your expectation that I was ever going to call you my people in this life but there has come a new development and I am sure that you are willing to hear me out on how I want this to be. I am quite aware that despite the fact that I had not grown to make any requests I have grown now to make those requests but in a polite way. First and foremost I will have to start by saying that what Rira had said here was inspired by me and she has not said anything wrong that I did not like. This means that you all have to stop fearing that I might do something that is not good to you for paying attention to her. I have nothing against what she has said and I have nothing against anyone that has decided to listen to all that she says because actually that is what I want; what I crave for is that you all accept the fact that it is not just by letting something to happen because you want them to happen but because it is what is necessary. I have come here this afternoon with her to help me tell you all that I am tired of answering Aboro"

When he said this the soldiers in the camp of Zinu looked at one another and then Aboro continued, "What this means is not that I am against what is happening or against the fact that things are already happening, what this means is that I am going to allow things to happened the way that they are supposed to happened. I am not answering Aboro again does not mean that my name is no longer Aboro but it means that the Aboro you all knew before now is no longer the Aboro that is standing before you right now. I have decided to have a rethink concerning what we are doing and what we have chosen to be doing. I see no reason why we need to keep focusing our hearts and minds on things that does not matter, instead of doing that we have nothing to just keep us looking at but the fact that remains is that I want us to have a rethink about our lives, about the people of this world and about what we really want for ourselves. We are not supposed to keep on doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. This is what I have come here to meet with you all and I have decided to allow her to continue to speak to you because I know that I am not good with words and I know that you all know that too. Allow her to finish saying what she had started to say already. The reason I decided to say these words is to encourage you not to fear but to listen to her very well as she addresses you. Thank you all" he then walked down from the platform and slowly the lady Rira reclimed the platform but when she had reclimed the platform she first of all decided to allow things to function the way that they were supposed to function. She first looked at the faces of those there and saw that there was this confusion in their faces and she knew that the only way to get he to understand is to keep talking to them and this time around not just to keep talking to them but to be hitting the nail on the head. She cleared her throat and then continued, this time around she looked and sounded bolder than before.

"I am no longer going to allow things like this sound so new in the ears of others because we want them to think that we are better off without them. Aboro here is not claiming any longer that he is the greatest of all times. He is not saying that he wants to be recognized as the greatest warlord that he is. That is not what I myself is asking for myself, what I myself, instead is asking is that we allow things like this to have meaning. We are not going to allow things like this to be our portion while we sit and do nothing. Aboro is no longer going to force you to follow his commands, he is no longer to ask you to do what you are not ready to do, he is no longer going to say to you, "I am your boss and if you do not do this I am going to have your heads on the platter. We are not going to let that to be our portion. Now having said this we want you all to listen to what we have to say concerning this thing, allow us to do what we are supposed to do and please stop making it look like there is anything that you would want us to do for you..The only thing that excites me now which I want to also excite you is the fact that Aboro; the greatest warlord to ever lived is now on your side and no longer on the side of the king. What this also means is that as long as he is now on your side and no longer on the side of the king of Agori it is left for you all to determine who you want to follow; are you going to follow him or are you going to follow the king of Agori. If you decide to follow him know it that you are going to be standing against the king of Agori who will not be in support of his new cause. I tell you this and this is all I have to tell you" She went down from the platform and Aboro said to them, "Any of you can decide to give your response by going up to tell us exactly what you have to think concerning what I have just said and what she herself has just said. The same man that had spoken recently then climbed the table and ran his eyes on all of them and then spoke,.

"Even though I have not gotten the full details of this new development I can not deny the fact that I was moved by the words that came out from the mouth of Rira and that of our boss Aboro. I am also hoping that this is what it is because my heart will gladly accept this. What else can I say, when I got married my wife's greatest fear was having to wake up every morning and having to bade her husband goodbye, to have him go on serving the man the whole world things to be the most dangerous man on Earth. Is this not a good news if truly we are not being pranked? I mean I have spent my whole life dreaming for a day like this, a day when the man with the strongest arm will have the strongest wisdom and that day by the help of the gods has come"
