#9. The stalker, the beast and the wolf

“Ken was wandering on a snowy mountain looking for a cave to take shelter from the hazardous blizzard.

After sometime he spotted and cave a hurried inside then all of a sudden it turned pitch dark.

He was trying to find his way when he tripped on a stone and fell into a trapdoor .

He got up only to see a huge black and white door in front of him .

He opened it and walked inside. It was a vast room with seven big chandeliers of different colors on the ceiling and countless white and black spots on the tiles on the floor.

Suddenly there was an earthquake and all the chandeliers got destroyed, the roof opened and he saw two big eyeball with red pupil and white Iris glaring at him then all the black and white spots disappeared and the tiles shattered.

After that, the ground opened making him fall into a pool of blood and drowned.

Then he woke up in shock and started painting heavily…. It was all a dream.

“What kind of dream is that?”

He looked out the window and saw that the sun is already out.

“It’s morning uh? What was that all about?” he thought deeply.

“Guess I’ll go clear my head in the labyrinth”

On his way he spotted Chris flirting with two girls close to a pub. “i***t” he said smiling.

He got to the labyrinth and went straight to the second floor.

The setting of the second floor is that of a rain forest.

“Heard that the second floor is filled with a lot of E rank and few D rank monsters” he said looking around.

As he was walking inside the forest he heard the sound of someone fighting and went to take a look.

When he got there he saw a guy around his age with spikey cherry blossom hair surrounded by three wasps.

“Three of them…. We’ll he be okay”

I’m all fired up!!” the cherry blossom haired guy said loudly and took out the wasps.

“He’s good” Ken said to himself.

“Well I didn’t come here to watch someone else fight” he said leaving but as he was walking away he stepped on a tree branch and it snapped loud enough for him to hear.

Then he charged at Ken from behind without hesitating but Ken avoided it without even turning back.

Then they both gave some distance between themselves staying on guard.

“Hmmm…. You sure have nice reflexes” he said impressed.

“Is that what you’re supposed to say to someone you just attacked for no reason” Ken said loudly.

“Quiet i***t…. What do you think you were doing spying on me” he snapped back.

“Spying? I was only passing by”

“Either way, you’re pretty fast for a human. You were lucky to have avoided that” he said.

“That does not make any sense at all” Ken said getting pissed.

“Uh!” He exclaimed.

“Anyway, what you’re trying to say is that you mistook me for a monster and you’re sorry…. Come on you should be more honest” Ken said calming down

“Uh! Don’t go concluding things yourself you damn stalker” he said irritated.

“What was that you empty headed beast” Ken said as they glared at each other with tension in the air.

“Hey stalker…. Want to go at it?” He asked smirking.

“What a coincidence. I was thinking the same thing…. Beast” Ken said also smirking.

Then Ken unsheathed his sword and charged at him but he avoided it with a jump and landed on the ground destroying the earth there aiming for Ken.

“He’s strong” Ken thought.

“He’s fast” He thought.

After duking it out for about two minutes no one could still land an attack on the opponent and nearby monsters began to move to the direction of the fight, attracted by the noise and got them surrounded.

“Look now you’ve got us surrounded” both of them said and got pissed at the fact they said it at the same time.

“There are eight wasps which are E rank and an alpha wolf which is D rank” Ken said looking around. The wolf is black in color and twice the size of a full grown man.

“What is it? You’re scared” he said irritated.

“Nah it’s just my first time seeing one” Ken said smiling

“There’s no way that could scare me after facing an S class mage” he said to himself.

“Then there’s no choice” Ken said.

“Hmmm. Better not get in my way” He said.

“Oho you’re on”

“Alright!” he screamed.

“Do you have to scream?” Ken said.

“Hey weak stalker, better pay attention” he said looking at a wasp trying to sting Ken from behind.

“You don’t need to tell me” Ken said as he moved sideways to avoid it and lunched a counter attack.

Then a wasp came charging at cherry blossom from behind. “Die” he yelled as he destroyed the stinger with his fist then used his feet to smash the head.

“I’m starting to wonder who the monster is between you and the wasp” Ken said poker-faced.

Moments later all the wasp were slayed remaining just the Wolf.

The enraged wolf roared loudly destroying trees nearby and zoomed towards them but it’s was avoided easily.

Ken charged at the wolf with his sword but it was blocked with it’s claws, then Ken stepped backwards giving room for him (cherry blossom haired guy) to attack from behind but the wolf saw him coming and tried to use it’s tail to sweep him away but he caught it in his hands which angered the wolf…. So it moved his tail upward with force which sent him flying high.

Then Ken came from the side to s***h it’s belly but the wolf saw him coming and tried to land an attack with it’s claws but Ken dodged it and swiftly used his sword to s***h it’s four legs leaving it unable to move properly because of the wound.

Then he (cherry blossom haired guy) landed on top of the wolf back with force and gave it a hard punch on the head making it loose it’s balance and fell on the floor and roared in pain.

As the wolf was trying to get up, him and Ken started emitting a huge amount of magical pressure with an intimidating aura on par with the wolf.

Suddenly, his aura started turned to flames and Ken’s aura turned to lightning.

“Eh!” Ken said surprised checking out his lightning-like aura.

“No wonder you were moving so fast” He said getting angry at Ken.

“You sure get mad over everything” Ken said unimpressed.

“Shut up!”

Then they charged at the wolf who’s still struggling to get up.

It saw them coming and tried to use it’s long tail at them but Ken avoided it swiftly and cherry blossom jumped high and engulfed himself with flames and Ken in the ground covered his sword with lightning and both of them strike at the same time which ended up slaying the monster.

It’s finally down” Ken sighed.

“Just so you know stripper…. I could have taken it down myself” He said loudly.

“Shut up you beast there’s no need to tell” Ken snapped.

“Just quit your yapping and go check for the dropped item” He snapped back.

“Ugh…. What a pain” He said and went to the monster

Then the monster disappeared and left a fang behind.

Then cheery blossom burnt it to ashes all of a sudden.

“Hey…. What’s wrong with you? If you didn’t need it doesn’t mean you should burn it” Ken snapped.

“Shut up stalker! Are you even in your right senses?” He snapped back.

“Uh”

“The wolf disappeared like that. Don’t you find that weird?”

“Isn’t that normal” Ken said looking confused.

“Uh! What are you talking about? Of course it’s not normal. Everyone knows when you slay a monster you remove the part to sell yourself” He said getting irritated.

“Uh…. What’s going on? Come to think of it the dead wasps are still here but the wolf disappeared…. In fact every monster I’ve slayed always disappeared and leaves behind a dropped item” Ken muttered.

“What are you going on about? You’re being creepy” He said.

“Something weird is going on. First of all that dream I had, then my magic manifested fully and now this” Ken said to himself.

“I’m heading back” Ken said leaving.

“Suit yourself” Cherry blossom said as he went to look for more monsters to fight.
