I drag myself upstairs to my room. All I want to do is sleep for an eternity. Everyone is home safe, and I talked with Seth. Dad survived surgery and is asleep.
“Hi,” Blake says softly when I enter my room.
“Hi yourself,” I smile tiredly.
He does not say another word as he walks to me. He takes my hand and leads me to the bathroom. Lavender fills my nose, and my mood improves immediately when I see the bubble bath.
“You’re a god,” I smile happily as I strip my clothes off.
The water is warm and soothing against my skin, and I sigh contently as I lay back and close my eyes.
“Take this,” Blake’s words are soft, and I slowly open my eyes.
