“Hello,” he said smiling at her outside her door. “Wow, interesting. At my house!” “Thought to pay a visit.” He said smiling as he held out the bouquet of flowers to her. “Go away.” She said shutting the door, but then a knock followed. Rolling her eyes, she ignored it hoping for him to go away. The knock continued, getting louder. “I thought I told you to stay away.” She said, but his cheeky smile was getting under her skin. “Accept the flowers.” “Give them away. I don’t need them,” she said. “I don’t take no for an answer.” “Listen here young man, I really do not care for whatever happened before, I don’t want to see you in my house, in my life ever again. Get the hint and move on.” She said getting agitated, banging the door in his face. Just as she turned around to leave, she heard another knock on the door. In anger, she went to her kitchen, took a large bowl, running water inside it, and hurried back to the door, opening it and pouring out the water on him, until she realized that it wasn’t him in fact. “Damian!” She said in shock. “What the hell are you doing here?” She asked. “I do deserve that,” he said wiping off water from his eyes. “What a narrow escape, don’t you think my love?” Harry said popping out of nowhere. Damian chuckled. “So much for being the loyal girlfriend I see,” “What did you say?” “You claim to be all heartbroken about catching me with your best friend, meanwhile you’ve moved on without letting a week pass by,” “You narcissistic manipulative bastard. You really do have the nerve to stand here pointing fingers at me,” “Tell this loser to leave. We need to talk.” He said authoritatively. “She, doesn’t want to speak to you gentle man.” Harry said stepping up beside him. “And who are you?” “You wouldn’t even be alive to remember. Leave.” “You’re letting this dickhead talk to me? In this manner?” “What do you want Damian?” “Let’s talk inside,” he said motioning to move inside but she pushed him back. “Say it. Out here.” “Look, I messed up, it’s just … at least it’s with someone you know, what if …” “Damian. Five seconds to say something sensible and I’ll throw you out.” “Let’s fix this. You’re a woman, you can’t find a man easily.” “Three seconds down,” “You’re kicking me out, your best friend had been moving to me since the first time we met,” “Out.” She said. “I tried but she’s goddamn sexy, I couldn’t resist. She said you asked her to test me, “ “Don’t let me cause today to be your last day.” Harry said beside him, “Who the hell is this guy?” “Leave.” “Listen here cunt,” he said pushing Harry back, “I’m talking to my lady so I’d appreciate if you shut up and left.” Rolling her eyes, she shut the door but the open swerved open, as Damian forced himself in, grabbing her elbow and spinning her around to face him. “How dare you walk out on me?” He said growling, glaring at her, she tried to wriggle herself free but his grip was so firm, she felt the pain on her hand, Just then, Harry places his index finger and middle finger on his neck, and whispered, “Sleep… never wake up,” so soft, yet so cold at the same time. Damian began to feel weak in his legs, his heart started beating fast, his eyes became extremely heavy. Next thing he’s on the floor, motionless. “He should be grateful I didn’t use my teeth.” He said re arranging his collars. “What are you?” Just then, it dawned on him what he had just done. “Umm… how do I say this? Hi, I’m Harry, half vampire, half human. Nice to meet your acquaintance.” He said handing out the flower to her. She kept staring at him in fear, “Take it, you won’t fall asleep. Not yet.” He said smiling. For fear of her life, she took the flower from his hands. “I’m sorry for introducing myself this way, he was causing such a wreck.” “What do you want?” “A date. With you.” “You know, if you think that some hypnotising trick you learnt from God knows where, and using it against my ex , with some cooked up bullshit as half vampire half human, will scare me into going on a date with you, you’ve really picked the wrong girl. Take your prize and get out of my house.” “You don’t believe me?” He asked, a little bit surprised. “I’ve seen magic tricks to be moved by this one move of yours.” She said . “Listen Lisa , I’m going to be honest with you. I never wanted us to start off on a scary basis, I just really want a date with you. What should I do to get one?” “Prove to me, that you’re who you say you are.” “That’s all?” “Yes.” His cheeky smile appeared again, as he took a step back from her, with that smile, there was a heavy wind blowing through out the room, papers flying here and there, the weather outside changed drastically, trees falling, the lights flicking off and on , sending chills down her spine, goosebumps couldn’t be hidden, His skin became pale white, the green veins on his hand became extremely visible, his nails became longer, his eyes turning red, and his teeth, longer, “Let’s run this introduction one more time.” His voice deeper with clear echoes, “ Hi, I’m Harold Einstfield, half vampire, half human ,” he said flashing his vampire teeth at her. Just then, Roman walked through the walls “Well well well, what do we have here?” He said grinning hungrily at Lisa, who now couldn’t move an inch from where she was.
