“What!” “I want to help you.” “I said I don’t need your help. Go away.” She wanted to shut the door but he placed his feet between the door and the door frame, “It’s not like you know anything about magic to help him, and if he is found in your possession the way he is, don’t let him cause more trouble for you.” He pushed the door open letting himself in, heading straight for her room. He pushed her door open, looking around her room, “So, this is where the magic happened?” He said throwing her a cheeky smile, “You’re intruding my privacy,” he ignored her, walking towards her walk in closet and opening the door. “Look at his pathetic self,” he said wearing the shades on the back of his head, squatting beside the guy, “You really want this guy awake?” “Undo it.” He nodded his head, and placed his hands on his neck, “Up you go.” He said and stepped aside as he watched Damian regain consciousness, “There. Your Prince Charming is awake.” He said rolling his eyes, and walking out the room then out the door. Lisa stood with a blank head, wondering if to chase after him, or stay and help out Damian, but her legs did their thinking as they chased after Harry. “Harry!” She called out his name, but he was far too gone to hear her. “Harry!” She screamed again, and then he paused in his tracks, and she ran to meet him. “Thank… you,” she said panting, holding her chest while trying to catch her breath. “For?” “For… undoing the magic.” “Foolish girl. I’ve told you that it’s not magic.” “Whatever. Thank you.” “Bye Lisa.” “Is that date invitation open?” “What?” “The date. Is your invitation still open?” “If you want it to be.” “Boy don’t play that game with me. Is it open or not?” “It is open.” “Ask me properly,” “Are you being serious?” “Ask me properly if you want me to go on that date with you.” “Lisa Jones, would you love to go on a date with me?” “Yes. Send me the details. Take care Harold.” She said patting him on the shoulder before returning back to her house. Turning her back, she noticed that he was now talking to someone, but no one was in sight when they were talking together, and the man looked quite familiar, like the one who illusioned himself to walk through the wall, but she didn’t pay any attention to them. “Lisa,” “Here’s your wallet Damian. Get out of my life.” “Lisa..” “Don’t force me to involve the police and get a restraining order on you.” “You’re an ungrateful b*tch” “You’re welcome Damian. Leave!” She pushed him out along with his belongings and locked the door behind her heaving a sigh of relief. “The most dramatic day I have had in a long time.” ~~~~ “So you’ve secured yourself a date,” Roman said appearing out of nowhere. “Of course she’d fall for me, I’m charming.” “If I were you, I wouldn’t get too ahead of myself.” “Well, you’re not me old man so don’t worry.” “The clock, is ticking. Time waits for no one and the goddess of light is known to be cunning. Be careful! I just came to warn you.” “What do you mean?” “She’s like a coin. Decode that yourself young one and get ready for your date.” As usual, he disappeared again. “Harry, the board members have been waiting for you,” James said opening the door for him, “James,” “Yes?” “What does it mean to be like a coin?” “Well, it means a lot of things, but the most common is being two faced.” “Two faced?” “Yes, mostly referred to people that are wolves in sheep clothing. Why do you ask?” “Roman, he said something about the goddess of light being two faced.” “It has always been said that how she for the throne, was in a very scandalous way, and the throne has been tainted. The goddess of light should be without fault, righteous and truthful, but even the staff rejected this one. Legend says that in order to keep the throne for herself, and have it run in her line alone, she has to get her daughter married off to a pure bred vampire.” “How did you know all of this?” “I’ve been doing my research, especially since I find her shady.” “I wanted to ask, you don’t think that she’s got something up her sleeve for me, do you?” “You’re not a pure breed, so I doubt you’re the one she’s looking for.” “What’s this meeting for?” “Going over the revenue for the company, the funds that have spent, the ones that have been distributed to the less fortunate, picking a new director, don’t worry, I have it all listed down here. You’re smart, so just follow my lead there.” ~~~~~~ “He found someone.” He said rushing into her chambers holding the globe in his hands. “Show me.” She said staring at the globe brought to her. He placed his hand on the globe, it changed, from the man under the tree, revealing Lisa as she walked away from Harry. “Who is she?” “A human. A doctor. Monalisa Jones.” “It seems that we have to put our own plans into action.” She said, dismissing the green elf. “Tara?” “Yes mother,” her daughter hurried out. She was extremely beautiful, a fair skin, with icy blue eyes, and dark red hair, a dimple sitting on her right cheek, “I think the time is close, to meet your future husband.” She said, an evil grin spreading across her wrinkled face. “As you wish. Mother.” Tara knew no other words than ‘yes mother.’ She dared not say no to her, else, the memories of years ago would become a reality again. A trauma she managed to keep on the inside.
