CHAPTER ELEVEN Never did a sight look so good as Colun did. Even my broom’s bristles seemed a little limp from exhaustion as we landed in front of the familiar inn. The door was partially open and a warm light spread across the ground. Tegan grasped my hand and led me inside where a crowd ate and made merry at the tables. “By the full moon!” a voice shouted and the burly figure of Burke hurried over to us. “What in the world has brought you here? And in that state?” “An adventure,” Tegan told him as he led me past our host and over to an empty table near the roaring fire.
