Unnaturally Fated

CHAPTER 2

CHAPTER TWO

“Y-You are not mad?”

Kealan didn’t expect when man smile widely. He has a warm smile.

She doesn’t know why she aren’t scared anymore when she supposed to be one. But, she somewhat feel that the man is a good man and she felt suddenly at ease.

Scratching her head out of confusion on what does the man mean, she look at him like she was asking him what does he mean in his word ‘It’s fine’, that the man immediately answered.

“You told me, you have nowhere else to go and its still raining, so it’s fine.” The man answered.

The man casually put his hands on his khaki pants that made him more looking good.

The man was just wearing simple khaki pant and white shirt, yet it still make him look good and he somewhat looks like Ryan Reynolds as the whole duration she stared at him.

“So, would you like to come in?” the man said, “don’t worry you can here for tonight.”

The man’s words made Kealan snap from ogling at the man’s looks, and stilled in shocked from what the man just said, that the man immediately noticed her reaction and chuckle, a chuckle that is so manly.

“You look so shock, don’t worry I won’t harm you, you can stay hear for the night, I’ll just be upstairs.” The man said.

After he told her that he left her, leaving more shocked and awe that the man just instantly let her to stay. He didn’t even accuse her like she’s a thief or a bad person for barging in without permission.

“Just like that? He let me?!” Kealan uttered in pointing herself following the man with her gaze who is now currently in the middle of staircase.

Kealan withdrew a deep breath after awhile and decided to get her things that is in the porch and took it inside the house and place it on the coffee table.

Thanks for the light from the lamp post Kealan was able to see some parts of the house, and she doesn’t need to open the lights on.

Kealan didn’t bother to change her outfit for it already dried a while ago while she’s on the porch and just took a clean shirt out of her bag and use it as a cover on the couch and sat there.

“Why can’t you just stop?” Kealan wishfully whispered as she stared at the window where she can see the rain still pouring water heavily.

Kealan continuously watched the rain out of the window until she didn’t notice that she fell asleep even her stomach growls. And she didn’t know that someone was watching her while laughing quietly as Kealan snores.

The man didn’t know why, he accepted the girl whose sleeping infront of him, he just felt a sudden strange connection on her when he saw her standing on a porch while shivering. And as the time goes by, while he was staring at her, he felt the connection is getting stronger.

The man’s thought was cut when he heard a grumble on Kealan’s stomach.

“She’s hungry and look so tired,” the man whispered as he noticed the exhaustion on Kealan’s face, “I’m wondering what happened.”

The man said pertaining to Kealan. The man wants to wake Kealan, but he know he can’t for some reason, with a heavy heart he just left her.

Morning came and the heavy stopped, Kealan moaned as she began to wake.

“Are you awake?” Kealan heard the man’s voice that made her flinch in an instant out, but she immediately feel dizzy, her back and her neck are aching, that made her moan in pain.

Kealan found the man standing near her still wearing his khaki pants and white shirt, yet still looking good even in the morning.

Kealan shook her head when she realize that she was ogling early in the morning  to the man who let her stay in the house and who is currently watching her with his forehead ceased.

“I’m sorry, are you alright?” The man asked in a worried tone, as he thought that there’s something wrong with the girl as he saw the girl shaking her head repeatedly, but he didn’t come near her and just remain where he was standing.

“Yeah, I’m fine, thank you.” Kealan replied stretching her back and neck to ease her the pain that she got she from sleeping in the couch where she sleep in a sitting position and her head was leaned on the couch facing the window.

Kealan was about to get up from the couch when her stomach grumble loudly that made her face flared in so much embarrassment.

 Oh! Earth please just eat me, Gosh! This is so embarrassing!” Kealan wished and bowed her head to scold herself then lift her head to face the man infront of her with an awkward smile.

“Don’t mind it, hehe!” Kealan said, “My stomach just want to greet you a good morning.”

Kealan awkwardly laughed to ease her embarrassment and hurriedly get up and took the shirts she use as a cover on the couch and put it into her bag again.

“Ahm… I’ll get going, Mister. Thank you for letting me to stay here for the night.” Kealan said and she finished fixing her things.

“You are welcome.” The man said while nodding, even though at the back of his head he don’t want the girl to leave yet specially he knows that she is famished.

But, he can’t do anything he doesn’t have any food or money to give.

“By the way, I’m Kealan, and thank you again for letting me stay here.” Kealan said with gratefulness in her eyes.

The man smiled as a response but still remain standing from where he was standing before Kealan woke up.
