XVII. Werewolves

"What's so special about a white wolf?" I asked.

"They are very rare, like one in a billion. " Robin said.

"Rarer than black wolves. "Luke added.

I scowled, "Isn't Robin a black wolf?"

Raine grinned, "Yes, that's why I'm so flipped about. It's already rare to have a Shadow Wolf but to have them in the same time frame, top that with them being mates. Those wolves mean power, usually Royalty power. "

Becky made a weird exploding motion with her hands and she smiled, "Mind-blowing. " she said.

"That's right Becky Wecky." Raine said then she told Luke, "I can't wait to have pups."

Luke began choking on the orange juice he'd been drinking. Robin stared at him and I leaned on the counter, resting my head on my palm, amused.

"What? " he choked.

"I want to have kids," Raine said easily.

"What?" He said still in shock.

"Someone is about to faint," Qira said as she walked in through the kitchen door.

Abby, Ken, Sara, Vincent, and Eros walked in as well.

I zapped Luke with lightning and he snapped out of the shock.

"Oh my GOD, Raine. "He took her in his arms and spun her around.

"I'm happy for you ." Robin and I said simultaneously.

"We needed some good news right now." He added.

Then Luke half shouted, "Did you get hurt during the fire, what-?"

"No, Sara told me the baby was fine, she could hear his heartbeat."

"His? We are having a boy!" Luke shouted.

I was happy for them, but that moment I realized many things. . .

I super speeded to, my room as the rest of the werewolves came up to eat and congratulate them to be parents.

But Robin quickly followed me to my room.

"What's wrong?"He asked as he opened

"Remember how Sara said we were frozen at the age we were turned?"I asked him as I walked to my bookcases rubbing my arms.

"Yeah, what does that have to do with this?"

"It has to do with this because- " I stopped and cast the bubble spell mentally, "Because I am frozen, I can't age, my cell can't reproduce. I can't have kids!"

"Jane, you -"

"I know, but I can see it in your eyes. And I can't give you that. " I said as I shifted around from my forms.

"Jane-"

"Ro-"

"Jane, shut up!" He told me and I stared at him. For the first time, he gave me the authoritative tone only Alpha's have, the same one I have, "Jane, I suspected that from the moment I kissed you in the forest. It doesn't matter to me, yeah I would have liked to, but I would rather have a mate for as long as you want me, I'll be here. Jane, for God's sake, I love you. "
