Where Do We Go From Here?
City officials were working with administrators from every community surrounding San Francisco, as well as those from the Office of the Governor. The President of the United States had called in the National Guard, thousands of troops from all over the country, to assist with everything that would be required to maintain safety. They were trying to keep things stable now while planning for the future.
It was not going to be easy. Structural engineers were working with underwater divers to assess and make decisions about what to do with San Francisco.
