"Hiss..."
I moaned unconsciously.
When I opened my eyes, it was dark all around.
My hands and feet were locked with silver chains, and I was always surrounded by darkness.
I had no idea how long I'd been trapped here. After Vera kidn*pped me, this rogue wolf had thrown me into this forsaken place.
It was clear this was an old, unused basement, with thick layers of dust staining my blue and white striped hospital gown. The wooden stairs were so worn that every step creaked ominously, the sound slicing through the darkness and hammering against my nerves.
Someone was approaching.
The dim basement had no windows, only the faint glow of a flickering oil lamp.
The shadows stretched long as the rogue wolf who had abducted me drew nearer, his footsteps creaking on the wood
