ALAIA POV "Alaia, you better come later, I don't want to hear any excuses anymore," Brenda's voice came through the phone, laced with determination. I chuckled, knowing there was no way out this time. "Alright, I will come later. But don't be late, otherwise I won't come," I replied, half-serious. "Okay, I won't be late. See you later!" Brenda chirped before hanging up. I sighed, setting the phone down. Brenda always invited me to the club, but I usually declined. Crowded places weren't my scene. But tonight, with nothing better to do, I thought, why not? After a refreshing shower, I slipped into a red wine dress that hugged my curves and accentuated my hourglass figure. I applied light makeup, letting my natural features shine through, and styled my golden brown hair into soft curls. Grabbing my handbag, phone, and car keys, I headed to the club. Brenda was already waiting at the entrance, her face lighting up when she saw me. "Wow, you’re f***ing gorgeous! I wonder how many guys will be drooling over you tonight," she teased. I laughed, shaking my head as we walked inside. Brenda poured me a whiskey and encouraged me to drink it in one go. I hesitated, not being much of a drinker, but the crowd soon joined in, chanting, "One go! One go! One go!" With a deep breath, I downed the drink, the burn of the alcohol warming my insides. Brenda handed me another, and then another, until I started to feel dizzy. "Brenda, I think I need to go to the bathroom," I mumbled, rushing off without waiting for her response. After finishing my business in the toilet, I came back to see Brenda dancing with some guy in the middle of the crowd. I ignored her and sat back at the bar while sipping my drink. I feel okay after washing my face up just now. After finishing the drink, I ordered another drink for myself and suddenly someone was sitting next to me and when I looked up it was a man! Omg is he for real? He’s so hot and attractive with his eyes that seem to glow dark brown with" long lashes and black brows…high cheekbones and very enchanting lips. It drew my eyes and made me stop and linger. I had the most bizarre and urgent desire to press my lips against his mouth to feel and taste its texture. He suddenly opened his mouth and said “What are you looking at, my lady?” he asked, a playful smile tugging at his lips. I was surprised and looked away. Pull yourself together, Alaia! This has to be alcohol! I had never behaved like this before. He continues “"Can we drink together? You seem alone," he continued. I looked at him and replied “Sorry, looks like my time is over here”. I stood up when I wanted to walk. Suddenly, Brenda came to me and said “Oh Alaia, it looks like you have a partner here. Thank god I don't need to look after you. Well you know I have some business to do. I looked at her and the guy who was dancing with her just now hugging each other. “ I’ll see you tomorrow girl” With that, she left me without hearing my response. Hmm, I think their eagerness has grown insatiable. “Looks like you didn't have anyone to drink with Alaia” he spoke again. I stared at him with a questioning look. "How do you know my name?" I asked him. "I heard it from your friend" he replied. “Yeah you’re right, my name is Alaia Brie West, but you can just call me Alaia. Well, let's drink together then.” We both talked to each other about our personal lives and I found out his name was Eiser. I bet he was not being honest about himself, but I didn't care that much, since I was not going to see him again. After a few minutes of talking, I looked at my phone. It was 2 am and I needed to go home. I stood up feeling dizzy and said to him “Well thanks for the night, but I need to go back”, Eiser then stopped me by grabbing my wrist. “Can I take you home?” “No it's okay, I am driving just now” I replied. “ But you are so drunk now, how can you drive home if you like this?” Yes, he is right. Now I also feel so dizzy I don't think I can drive home, but I don't want to go with someone that I'm not used to. I called Brenda, but she didn't pick up her phone. s**t! I turned to him and said, “You’re right, I don't think I can drive in this state. Could you take me home?” “Sure the pleasure is yours” he replied. With that, he took me to his car and he started to drive to my house. "You don't seem like the clubbing type," Eiser remarked, breaking the silence. "I'm not. Brenda convinced me to come tonight," I admitted. He nodded, a thoughtful look on his face. "Sometimes, stepping out of your comfort zone leads to interesting encounters." I smiled, feeling more at ease. "You might be right."
