I AM YOUR ALPHA!

Selena's POV

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I heard Damien's wolf question me. Each word exuded power and anger. It was only normal that he was furious and blinded with sorrow to find that his mate, my wolf suzu, is dead. I could understand his pain for I had carried such pain with me since my family's tragedy. But I was in no position to succumb to my feelings or the bond. " I fail to see the reason why my wolf maybe of your concern Alpha. " I said keeping a cold expression pasted on my face. I could clearly see how my words had devastated him but he soon masked his sorrow with anger. " I AM YOUR ALPHA!!! What happens to you is MY FREAKING CONCERN!!!! " He roared slamming his hands on the round table. His strong aura seemed to have suddenly exploded in the room. But being his mate and who I am, I wasn't affected but those outside definitely felt his anger as the doors burst open. In walked a blonde girl in her Twenties probably older than me dressed in a body hugging professional shirt with blazer and a pencil skirt while her face was caked with makeup and her soft hair loosely braided was sitting on her shoulder. She walked up to the Alpha and said, " Are you alright Damien??  What did this b***h do to make you so furious? " While glaring at me." How dare a human think of herself worthy enough to be in the presence of the Alpha of the Black Moon Clan!! ", she said enraged by the fact that I was alone with the Alpha I presume. Whoever she was, she wasn't afraid to show her disdain to wards me." And who exactly are you to question my worth, miss? ", I asked trying my best not to show my obvious dislike towards her for she was here as a part of the representatives of the Black corporation." I am the daughter of the Alpha of the Jade moon clan and you pathetic human should be grateful I'm even talking to you". This b***h was now getting on my nerves, I gave her a chance to save her dignity but she was far too spoiled to know. Although I hid my aura and scent to prevent myself from being identified as a werewolf by the vamps I was still an Alpha and she was testing my limits. " I would watch that mouth if I were you lady. I don't know who you are but remember you are in MY territory and under MY protection. Without as my word stepping foot outside this building will be fatal to you. So I suggest you better not do something that you may come to regret.", I warned her in a infuriated tone. My sudden change in voice startled her and fear set in for her as she began back away and clinged on to Damien's arms. All the while I was busy dealing with the brat Damien has been unusually quite and now when I returned eyes onto him I noticed he was leaning on the table and fighting to hold back the tears that threatened to spill. "Damien.... ", I whispered. 

He suddenly jerked himself out of his daze and let out a defeated sigh." Well miss moon it was splendid meeting you and I hope to see you soon. " He said in an all professional demeanor with a curt nod preparing himself to leave.  I couldn't believe he was same guy who was slamming the desk moments ago in anger and I didn't want to leave things between us like this. Whatever he may have thought to make him say that I wanted him to know how I feel about him. " As do I  Mr. Black. I believe it is in fate that our paths will cross once again." I replied to him to at least giving him the clarity that I was not rejecting him. This seemed to put a small smile on his lips as if he read my feelings. As we came out of the boardroom James came sprinting towards me almost running into me. His sudden arrival took me by surprise making me stagger back in shock. I collided with the strong chest of my mate as his strong arms came around me to steady my body. I felt  his warm breath tickle the skin of my neck sending a ripple of pleasure across my whole body. "You alright?" He whispered in my ears causing my body to shudder. As much as I loved being held close to my mate i had to pull away from his warm embrace after gaining my footing. I quickly mumbled a thank you and gave him a ' don't worry I'm fine' look and returned my attention to James who still having trouble regaining his breath. " James!! What the hell happened to you??? ", i asked worriedly. " Ferals..... Huff... Hufff..... Boarder...... Huff...... Huf... Coming.. Fo.. Or.. YOU... Huff.... " He answered the best he could. " Either take a breath or say what you have to don't do both things at once no one can understand it" , scolded Damien glaring at James. " He says that Ferals are attacking our boarder and I'm needed for help. Isn't that correct James? " I said giving him a secretive but meaningful look. Understanding my words he realized his slip up and nodded his head in agreement. Before the Alpha could say anything I cut him off by calling for Xenon. The skinny fellow soon came running to me with his bright beaming face and said in an squeaky, high pitched energetic voice, " Yes MAM. " I chuckled at his joyous behavior even after a whole day of hard work. My little gesture of delight didn't go unnoticed by the Alpha. He wouldn't stop glaring at the boy who brought smile to his Omega's face as he could not. The poor secretary has no idea he had incurred the wrath of a jealous Alpha, the Alpha king no less." Xenon, escort our guests to their convoy and make sure they safely cross our boarders. And make sure to take the route far away from the feral zone. " I commanded him. I turned to the Alpha and asked him to follow Xenon. " I would like to invite you to visit our pack house for dinner this weekend. It's my litte brother's birthday so I hope you can come. " Invited the Alpha. " Of course Mr. Black, it would be my honour. " I replied. Even when I wasn't sure if I would survive today's battle.With this we parted ways as he went home to his family, I went to battle those who had found my secret and had come after my life.
