Chapter 14 - POV Charlie - Lets do it!

The whole way to the training field I kept letting my mind wander back to history class. The idea of a vampire and a wolf having a mate bond is just wild. I wonder what pack he was from, if they had kids, if either of my grandparents knew him. So many questions going through my mind. Good thing I’m about to train so hard my mind won't be able to wonder about my new fascination.

I didn’t mind the intense training sessions, it was a lot of fun and I got to see Martin with his shirt off again. Talk about a win-win situation for me for day one of school. A part of me felt a little guilty every time I watched his muscles move as he did his sit-ups and push-ups. Though I think he enjoyed watching me just as much. I took my shirt off this time as it was hot outside now being the afternoon and I was not ashamed of my body in the least. As much as Piper may have thought so. I watched as Martin's eyes traveled down my body from my perky and full breast all the way down to my toned abs. I made sure to turn around and stretch and internally smiled and then quickly looked back and caught him staring at my a**. I saw him blush and smirk at me.

‘Thats right girl, let's make him wish he was on top of us right now, I know I wish he was.’ she pants.

‘Down girl, let's at least pretend to be hard to get for a bit.’ I smiled, knowing Iris is as hot for Martin as I am. There's just something about a smart-mouthed, handsome guy that pushes all my buttons.

As I looked up from my stretching I saw Martin walking over. His aura exudes dominance and I can feel myself getting warmer as he approaches. He smiles and bends down so close to my face that I can almost taste him.

‘Jump him!’ Dear goddess, why is my wolf so damn impulsive? I can’t just jump a guy right here on the field. I sigh.

“If you keep bending over like that in front of me,you’re going to have to be ready to put on a show for all to see.” I can see his eyes have turned darker, insinuating his wolf is on the surface and I know he’s lusting after me too.

“Can the big bad beta not control himself around an ordinary she-wolf darling.” I acted so cheeky with my words, I can see it in him as he seductively smiles at me, I'm barely keeping it together and I know he smells how turned on I am right now. Goddess!

“Oh hunny, you are no ordinary She-wolf and Nox and I are going to show you a real good time.” He winked, I sank to the floor a little more. This man was going to be the end of me. How am I supposed to concentrate on sparring with him, when I can barely stop my legs from wobbling around him? I finally pull myself together, look him straight in the eyes, smile and knock him on his a**. Ah, lovely, apparently kicking his a** is all I needed to stop the intrusive thoughts.

I got on his back and pinned him to the ground. I whispered in his ear “next time don’t leave yourself so open to attack.” I get up and started walking away to go run laps. Leaving Martin shocked and completely turned on, Martin just laying on the ground, probably wondering what the hell just happened. Yes, Martin may be hot, but he’s not irresistible, and I may turn him on even more with my little foreplay move there.

Martin soon caught up to me on my laps with Marissa and Jasmine not too far behind. I can hear them laughing at everything that has just transpired.

“You little vixen are playing a dangerous game, but I like it. Can’t wait for Friday night, I'll see you on the dance floor.” He winks and speeds off up ahead. I blush uncontrollably and slow down and run beside the girls.

“Oh my goddess, you’re so red Charlie. I didn’t know you had all that in you.” I laughed. I didn’t know I had that in me either. I’ve never really been into anyone. People used to think Patty and I had a thing going on, but EW no. That guy is like a second brother to me. Hmm, I should probably call him. I feel like so much has happened already and it’s only been one day.

When training wrapped up, I said bye to Martin and Jasmine. Marissa and I walked back to our room. Marissa realized she had forgotten her book bag at the training field so she said she would catch up with me. No problem, I needed to call Patty anyway.

As I was following the path on the outer ridge of campus just taking my time to get back to my room, I felt the hair on the back of my neck standing up. I looked around but I didn’t see anyone or anything out of the ordinary. I look towards the forest and I think I see a shadow. I try to take a better look with my wolf's help but then suddenly I bumped into someone.

“What the hell are you doing, you need to watch where you’re going slag” Well, this girl is dead.

“Excuse me, who do you think you are? I bumped into it by accident. Why are you just standing in the middle of the path anyways?” I’m trying very hard not to just punch this girl in the face for her rude behaviour but I’m reminded I'm training to be Beta and a Beta wouldn’t just hit someone first.

“I’m Misty, and you had better watch yourself. I don’t care if you think you’re tough stuff by sparring with Martin and fighting off rogues. I’m the future Luna of Blood Moon and you better watch it!” Well, I tried to hide the look of confusion on my face but I guess I didn’t hide it that well.

“I didn't know they had a future Luna. Even so, you don’t get to talk to me like that, you're not Luna yet, and by the smell of you, you are barely Delta. Next time I won't be so nice about your manners.”The look of repulsion on her face at my remarking her rank his a nerve for sure. Goddess, this girl is like another Piper. ICK.

“As the future Luna, I outrank you, don’t even try your I’m all tough Sh*t on me.” She attempted to slap me but I managed to dodge it. Just as I was about to punch this Piper 2.0 in the face, that feeling of being watched from the forest came over me again. I quickly tried to look over but again saw nothing. So I just looked at this annoying wolf in front of me, huffed and told her she's not worth it and walked away.

I could hear her snicker behind me that I’m not so tough. I’ll show her later. Piper 2.0, oh I mean MISTY, you’ve made my list.

Well, guess she's just one more thing to tell Patty about. I got to the dorm just seconds before Marissa.

“You had a huge head start, how are you getting here just now?” well guess I tell her.

“I ran into a Piper 2.0 on my way, real name Misty, apparently the future Luna of Blood moon. Though I feel like Martin and Jasmine said their future, Alpha is still looking for his mate. Literally ran into her. She tried to rip me a new one. We exchanged some words, she tried to slap me, I went to punch her but then I got the overwhelming feeling someone was watching me.” Well that was concise, good. Maybe I’ll be good at giving reports at least.

“Really Charlie, I leave you alone for like 10 minutes and you basically make your first enemy” She laughed and I joined in.

“As for being watched, I’m sure it was just another student somewhere, this campus is so protected I dont think a rogue could sneak in.” I didn’t have the heart to tell her. I don’t think it's a rogue, but without evidence there is really no point.

“You’re probably right, well I’m going to go call Patty. I’ll talk to you later, okay, maybe we can start the next season of One Tree Hill tonight.”

“Deal, tell Patty I said hi!”

“Will do!”
