Unfinished

When I woke up in the morning I felt refreshed. I could hear a commotion outside in the halls so I got up and peeked out. There were guards at my door and a nervous Noah pacing the halls yelling with Nathan following him trying to calm him down. I asked the guards what was going on and they seemed startled to see me. They explained that Noah was worried about the events that took place last night as there has been a new development.

I squeezed past the guards and went up to Noah and Nathan causing them both to stop pacing. Nathan looked relieved that I came out and got Noah to stop. But I wasn’t here to calm him down, he was acting like an i***t. And I was going to let him know just how stupid he was acting.

“Can I speak to the both of you in the office please?” I asked.

Noah seemed relieved but Nathan knew they were in for it. We went up stairs in silence. I knew if I tried to talk to them on the way up there I wouldn’t be able to hold back. I opened the door to Noah’s temporary office and pointed for them to both go in. As I followed them in the door caught, I turned to see Alpha Michael and Nova following us in. I quickly shut and locked the door and then turned to let the two idiots have it.

“What the hell were you two thinking? You weren’t were you? You both are the future leaders of the pack, the ones everyone will turn to and you have a meltdown in the halls. If you have an issue you come and handle it in the office behind closed doors. Do you understand?” I growled.

“Sorry Luna, it won’t happen again” Nathan sighed.

Noah didn’t even bother to speak; he just continued to shake. I knew I wouldn’t get any answers from him and his father seemed to just be enjoying the show. Knowing him he wouldn’t tell Nova what was wrong since she would tell me. So I turned my attention back to Nathan and just glared at him. I knew he would spill he insists on calling me Luna so he won’t keep something from me if it’s a danger to us.

“You're not playing fair. You know I’ll tell you if you keep glaring at me like that…...I’m sorry Noah but I can't. I told you before she should know, and if looks could kill I’d be dead by now. Prince Alex is not giving up since they left we have received a letter, Noah has it.” He squealed.

I walked over and snatched the paper Noah was holding.

This isn’t over. I challenged you not her, she will be mine. The challenge was cut short because of my father, but that’s ok because you're the one I need to take down. Tell my Love I will be back for her. 

Alex

I was beyond pissed at this point. I handed the paper over to Alpha and could see he was pissed as well. I guess once again I would have to put this prick in his place. Knowing what I would need is in the Alpha office I walked out and headed there. Everyone was right on my heels. I stormed in and locked them all out, then went over to his desk and found the King's number, since apparently we need another meeting.

I called the King and advised him his son was still up to his tricks and we needed to talk. He didn’t seem thrilled but agreed to stay where they were for me to meet them. I hung up the phone and went to grab my already packed bag. I was going to run in my wolf form since I would get there a whole lot quicker.

I’m coming with you.

Nova it’s safe you need to stay here.

Fat chance sis we’re ending this tonight.

We both took off and shifted at the tree line shredding our clothes. Soon I could hear the thundering of paws coming up behind us. Nova was slowing me down and I really didn’t want my possessive mate catching up to us. I had her shift back and climb on my back so we could get some distance between us.

Coming up on the border of our land I saw some warriors waiting for us. I linked Nova to hold on and started to run faster. Once I was close enough I jumped over them and continued on my path to knock some sense into an i***t.

I could feel a nagging at the back of my head as the guys were trying to link me but I was closed off. I had to stay focused, they would try to stop me if they knew what I was going to do. After a while I couldn’t take the headache from them and opened up my mind.

“Where are you going Angel? It’s not safe for you guys to be alone” Noah yelled.

“Luna please allow us to come with you. You are the future leader of our pack and need to stay safe. Noah won’t be able to lead properly without you” Nathan begged.

“Nevaeh what the hell I know your strong but your being stupid. And jumping over our warriors to get your way you are taking this tantrum to a new level. I have let you use me as a punching bag for years to keep you from something like this and you just leave your back up behind you were trained better than this!” James scolded.

“Will you all just shut up! Nova wouldn’t let me go alone I’m not going to do anything stupid. All I’m going to do is put an end to this. He only wants me as his mate because of what he can gain. I’ll reason with the King and let him know his son come for me again and I will not show mercy” I growled.

Once we were close to where I was supposed to meet the King for our discussion I linked the boys where we were at. By the time they would make it all would be said and done hopefully and we would be on our way back.

Nova slid off my back and opened my bag to get me some clothes. Once I was shifted back and dressed I called the King and told him we were here. We had to wait for his royal guard to come down and bring us up to his hotel room to talk. At first it was just the three of us but shortly after I started to talk Alex came out and joined us.

“I’m here to get your son to leave me alone even after the fight. And you telling him to drop this crazy idea he still has this obsession that I am his mate. He sent a note to my mate so this is the last time I’m saying leave me alone Alex you come for me and I will kill you. King Matthew I will agree to assist you guys if ever needed but me alone I will not guarantee my pack will assist.”

King Matthew agreed and started I should reject his son as well. This had me confused; he's not my mate to reject. But then I realize he’s asking this since his son thinks he is, it will help him move forward.

“I Nevaeh Cullen future Luna of the Eclipse Moon Pack reject you Prince Alexander Holmes as my mate.”

“Son you will accept this rejection and stop pursuing this young lady” king Matthew bellowed.

“I, Prince Alexander, future king, accept your rejection and will stop all pursuit of you as my mate” he sighed.

I said my goodbye and was heading out the door when the king stated he was ready to cash in his assistance but as a favor. I stopped and turned to look at him when he asked me something I thought I would never hear.

“I need you to kill Edward. And then the debt is paid and you will never hear from us again” Matthew said coldly.
