Stupid Boy

Did I just hear him correctly, stating Nevaeh is his mate. We just found out she was my son's mat and to my knowledge there has been no rejection. Not that they really had the time with her down in the cells and then in a coma because of those hunters.

Son did either of you reject each other?

No! Why would I ever reject my Angel father? She is a gift from the moon goddess. I know I was wrong growing with how I treated her but I will not stop showing her how sorry I am.

Well I only asked since there is another stating she is his mate.

After Noah heard this the whole house could hear a growl before the doors swung open.

“Who dares state my mate is theirs?” He yelled.

“ Angel is my mate so go collect her and we will leave.” He smirked

“Angel isn’t even her name. How can you state she’s your mate without knowing her name?” Noah seethed.

“Calm down son if she is your mate follow her scent. Your wolf will lead you to her, I will not force anyone to leave it is their choice” stated Alpha Michael.

Alex started to walk around the pack house following Nevaeh scent. He followed it upstairs and stopped on the second floor. So she is part of the beta or gamma family, that explains her strength. Alex continued to follow her scent and stopped right in front of her door. Noah growled as Alex just opened the door to be as shocked as everyone else to find the room empty with the balcony doors wide open.

I was almost to the board when four wolves jumped in my path. I tried to go around them and they wouldn’t let me pass. As I looked closer I could tell they weren’t part of the pack… it was more of the royal guards. Of course they had some patrolling. I can’t shift if I do they will know who I am.

“Can you please move out of the way? I was supposed to leave on a trip and missed my ride so I’m trying to slip out and make it with the rest of the group” I lied.

One of the men shifted back, and I averted my eyes. They really had no right to say who could leave our land so they must be looking for someone. Then it dawn on me like I’m sure it has on everyone else right now. That prick is stating I’m his mate, oh am I going to rip into him and this time I won’t stop.

“I’m sorry but Alex has asked that we bring you back so that you can leave together” he finally replied.

“Over my dead body I’m leaving with him. But just to make you all happy I turn back and say it to his face before I leave on my own. That’s if my mate doesn’t tear into him first” I growled.

I turned on my heels and headed back to the pack house. I had four shadows the whole way there, I really don’t like to be followed so this just agitated me more. As I continued walking I couldn’t help but think the royal family was one of the factions my parents talked about. I doubt they are the ones that killed my parents since it’s against our laws. But the royal family likes power and would love to be stronger if I was mated with one of them.

The pack house came into view and I shook these thoughts away. I could hear Noah breaking things inside as Alastor more than likely has control. Artemis started to pace my mind as I walked inside trying to find what room the commotion was coming from. As soon as I walked in it was like everything in the room was frozen.

I told Alastor to calm down and reached out to him. Him ripped me into his chest and started to breathe in my scent to calm him. His eyes slowly went from silver back to green, he relaxed his grip but still had his hand hooked on my hip.

“Let go beautiful, it’s time to go home” Alex cooed.

“As I told your guards over my dead body. You are not my mate just a power hungry Alpha” I snapped.

What this i***t did next sent me to the back seat and Artemis had full control. He really challenged Noah for us, like we were some type of prize. Artemis was glaring at Noah daring him to speak. So help me if you accept this challenge both of you might end up six feet under when I am done with you.

“As much as I would love to accept this challenge I think Angel is going to take you up on it. And I rather not be on her list” Noah stated.

Artemis walked over and kissed Noah's cheek. And then turned to glare at Alex and growled. If he wanted to fight for us to be his mate then he was going to fight us. When are these Alpha men going to stop being pig headed and treating me especially like I’m made of glass! One thing is for certain it’s going to end today.

I told Alex let’s go and state his rules for the challenge or he could concede and leave me the hell alone. And of course he used this to his advantage stating we are to fight in our wolf form, and to submission there would be no death tonight.

I skipped my way outside with all the men trailing behind me. I could sense Alpha Michael’s worry, but also Noah’s pride. Noah believes we will take his ass down and trust us to stay back, maybe he is trying to change but let’s see how long it lasts when the fight begins.

Alex shifted into a large red wolf with white feet and tip of his tail. Now it was my turn, I looked back and smiled as I shifted into my wolf. Artemis being in control still puffed her chest out proud of herself when she heard them all gasp.

“The rules have been stated for this challenge, the first to submit loses and the winner chooses who Nevaeh’s mate will be. May the odds be in your favor. Let the fight begin” Noah announced.
