15 What about Edward?

1033 Words
When Elvin found Ethan, Ethan was sitting on a stone chair in the hospital. His face was full of frustration. "Am I useless?" Ethan said. Seeing Ethan’s dispirited state, Elvin was very sad. "If you are useless, how many people are useful in this world?" Elvin said. "But, I don't know anything but being an actor," Ethan said. Before Elvin came, Ethan tried to find someone to help Cosette solve the current dilemma. However, in the end, Ethan found that he was just like Edward said, except for the Miller family, he had nothing. Ethan knew better than anyone what kind of the Miller family was. Stuart woke up after being comatose for a day and night. Cosette was lying in front of the bed, hearing the movement, and quickly raised her head. "Stuart, you are awake! Is there anything uncomfortable? I'll call the doctor." Cosette said incoherently. Stuart's face revealed an unhealthy paleness, reaching for the sleeve of Cosette. "I'm fine, don't worry," Stuart said. Cosette responded: "Well, I need to call a doctor. Don't move." Cosette got up, wiped the corners of her eyes with her hands, and walked out quickly. Stuart looked at Cosette and felt uncomfortable. Cosette worked too hard and sacrificed too much for me. Cosette should have a better life. Stuart thought of this, and there was a smile on his face. If he could, he really hoped that he could see his sister get married, being the most beautiful bride in a wedding dress. However, Stuart might not be able to wait for that day. "Please rest assured that we will guarantee Stuart's safety before the transfer," Charles said. Charles comforted Cosette and led Lewis into the ward. "Thank you so much. If Stuart can get better, you are my benefactor for my life." Cosette said. "It’s my duty," Charles said. Charles hadn't finished speaking, his face suddenly changed, and he quickly walked to the bed. Cosette looked at Stuart on the hospital bed, as well as those unplugged instruments. She was shocked, like hitting by thunder. "Stuart!" Cosette shouted. Cosette exclaimed and was about to pounce, being stopped by Lewis. "Calm down. We will do our best to treat Stuart." Lewis said. Stuart was sent to the intensive care unit, and Cosette fainted because of the rush. "Edward, I have made a clean room available. Would you like to take a break?" Charles said. Edward closed the door of the ward and said softly, "No." "How is Stuart?" Edward said. "It's not good. He is holding a dead heart. I really didn't expect him to do this. Now the fever is unabated, and his condition has been in danger again." Charles said. Edward's face was frosty. "I don't care what you could do. You must make sure Stuart is safe." Edward said. "Yes, sir," Charles said. "Stuart!" In the ward, Cosette's exclamation sounded. Edward's face changed, then he pushed open the door and walked in. Cosette sat on the bed, her forehead covered with fine beads of sweat. Edward hurried forward and hugged Cosette's trembling body. "Coco, I'm here, don't be afraid," Edward said. Edward patted Cosette's back gently. Cosette's complexion slowly improved, with one hand clutching Edward's arm tightly. "Will Stuart die?" Cosette said. Edward looked at Cosette and said aloud: "No, he will never leave you." Cosette's emotions slowly settled down. Cosette looked at Edward, feeling uncomfortable. "Thank you," Cosette said. Then Cosette pushed Edward away and stood up. "You don't have to worry about Stuart's condition. During this time, Charles will guarantee that he is safe." Edward said. Edward's words gave Cosette a sigh of relief. "I need to see Stuart," Cosette said. Edward grabbed Cosette's arm and murmured: "You haven't taken a good rest for a long time. I will arrange someone to take care of Stuart. You need a good rest now." "But," Cosette said. "Relax. Don't you want him to be better? What if he was better, but you are sick?" Edward said. Cosette was eventually taken out of the hospital by Edward. Sitting in the car, Cosette looked at the scenery outside the window, looking dazed. Overnight, everything was off track. Cosette didn't want to have any entanglement with Edward, but at this moment, she was entangled with him again. Cosette was too tired. At this moment, staying by Edward’s side, she was slowly relaxed and soon fell into a deep sleep. Edward turned his eyes occasionally, looking at Cosette's sleeping face. He showed a soft face. The car stopped slowly, and Edward took a blanket from the locker behind the car and covered Cosette. His sharp fingers touched Cosette's cheek and finally rested on her lips. Cosette made a noise. Edward seemed to be guilty, and he quickly retracted his hand. Cosette didn't wake up. Only one hand tightened the blanket. Edward sighed. "If at that time, we didn’t break up, that would be better." Edward's voice was very soft. After he finished speaking, he drove the car again. It seemed that nothing happened just now. When Cosette woke up, she found herself lying in bed. Looking at the surrounding environment, she first felt that she was back in the previous apartment. However, when she looked closely, it was different. The door was pushed open, and Cosette looked up. "Hi, Cosette, you are awake." Rossie greeted. Rossie was surprised when she saw Cosette sitting on the bed. Cosette nodded and glanced around. It was impossible for Edward to have only one residence. Cosette had already known this. However, when she was really taken to a place by Edward at random, and then she felt she had been treated like some other women. She was sad. "Where is this house? Where is Edward?" Cosette said. Rossie thought Cosette woke up without seeing Edward and felt lost, and Rossie laughed out loud. "This is the private apartment of Edward. He has been taking care of you all the time. There was a phone call just now. It should be the company's business. Then he went to study." Rossie said. Hearing that Edward had been taking care of her, the depression in Cosette's heart dissipated slightly. However, Cosette heard about Edward's private apartment for the first time. Here, it should be much better than those villas. "You have been sleeping for so long. You must be hungry. I'll cook some food for you." Rossie said. Cosette took the phone by the bed and glanced at the time. It's almost ten o'clock. She had slept for such a long time. "Rossie, can you cook Edward some food? He should be hungry too." Cosette said. "Sure," Rossie said. Rossie walked out, smiling. Cosette got out of bed and left the bedroom.
