Chapter 14 When Laney pulled into the parking lot of the Second Chances thrift store, she immediately noticed Billy’s red pickup. She was five minutes late, but Billy didn’t look perturbed as he exited his truck. Maybe he’d also just arrived. “Hi, Billy.
