I'd been here for months, working with Ronin and the professor, preparing to defeat Monlow. I'd proven my worth to Ronin time after time but didn't feel appreciated.
I understood why Connor was here but her presence irritated me. We could have used all the help that we could get but there were times when I could have kicked her all the way back to Earth. She kept getting in my way. I truly didn't think Ronin and I needed her.
