How are you?
Hey, How are you? I don't know how much sense it makes to ask you because I will never be able to get an answer but I was wondering anyway. Since you left, I've started over again seeing that strange TV series we used to watch together. To tell the truth I don't like it even now, but it's as if I savored all those happy moments where we hugged on the sofa, sleeping in the warmth of our contact. I wonder if you miss me. I always count the days that have passed since the last time I saw you, hoping that sooner or later I will be able to start again from 0. Take me away, where the world is an idea and you are still mine. Wake me up only when the trees bloom and underneath we are tickled by the falling petals, laying in the shade to observe the immensity of an indigo-colored sky. I will wait for you until my last day because I have never found any of the greatest love. You saw me in pieces and collected every fragment and then you put them back together, running out of all your strength. You deserve happiness, the nights illuminated by the glow of the stars, the most beautiful beaches and seas full of hope and beauty. The world is unfair for that, because you can't get anything you deserve. You brought me to safety as if I were a castaway, you welcomed me into your arms and made the luckiest person in the whole universe: now, however, I want to go back to cycling through the fields, competing to see who arrives first at the lake and then dive in and leave all our anxieties and worries behind. It is only there that the pain doesn’t touch me and I feel light of living to the fullest of the imaginable. -Back in time- "Can I sit here?" A tiny girl asked in a faint voice, gesturing to indicate the vacant seat next to me. So there were two of us left on that bench placed in the middle of that park illuminated by a day of immense sunshine. I started to peek at her out of the corner of my eye, noticing her gaze fixed on her cell phone in the attempt to contact someone by text. "Are you waiting for someone?" I asked, shifting my sight to her eyes which promptly turned to mine. "Theoretically yes but it is already 20 minutes late" I laughed lightly, running my hand through my hair as I returned to observe the few clouds in the sky. “I'm sorry but we are in the same situation. Except that I have been waiting for her for a little longer, I gave up and came here to relax. Fellow sufferers" And you laughed with me at the ambiguity of that situation, giving me strength and starting that pleasant conversation. Then as was my custom, I ruined everything by getting up because I was forced to leave due to my commitments. “Unfortunately I have to leave you here alone, major forces are calling me. It was a pleasure to meet you, my name is Oscar " "Miriam" "Will we meet again here tomorrow at 4?" I asked waiting for an answer from her. "Okay, maybe I'll be late for a few minutes but you can stay here" And so I walked away from you for the first time, my sweetheart.
