"Have you seen anything? I have it on good authority that Alpha Scott is on his way here. He is going to attack." I mindlink my warriors. So far, it's been quiet for hours. I am starting to think that Colt was misinformed.
"Nothing here." Adam responds
"Quiet in the South." Andrea says, and everyone responds much the same. I have good warriors, and we are mixed with Moonlight and Silver Streams to cover more territory, but nobody has seen anything. I wish I could've trusted Cindy, but being that her mate is the reason we are all here, is best to keep her away.
I start seeing images of my mate being restrained and hurt. I can feel her fear through the bond. What is going on?
