“Come on you guys it is time for us to head back to the house.” I said to them.
Both of them started to complain against it. “Please Mama! Just 10 minutes more.”
“Fine, but just 10 minutes and no more than that.” I said sternly.
They were more than happy for the 10 minutes of extended time. I kept a close eye on them as they played with this and some more. Soon the time was up and I got up and wore my shoes.
“Alright, the time is up. Wear your shoes we need to go.”
The kids whined again but they knew that I was not going to listen to them this time. They wore their shoes as they sulked.
