Part 3: Jasmine

Jasmine

        I was sitting in the front seat with Tom on the way to a concert. I didn't particularly care for metal but I knew Esmerelda would enjoy it so i took her. We hooked up last night and this is our first date. f**k, hardly anyone knows im bi-s****l let alone that im dating Esmerelda. Sarah and Ben were the only ones who knew i felt comfortable telling them. Tom i was unsure about cuz he probably wants to be with me. Tom and I were close and all but I really didn't want to hurt him. I would've just been a rebound if i hooked up with him anyways. 

        We all arrived at the venue and Esmerelda took my hand running into the venue excitedly. Tom followed us and im not sure where Ben and Sarah were. They must've been somewhere up front. Tom pulled me aside from Esmerelda and she just wandered off. "listen Jasmine i really like you and i was wondering if you feel the same". I could see that his eyes were filled with desperate hope. I had to tell him so i reluctantly spoke, "I just hooked up with Esmerelda, Im bi-s****l now". I could see his head sink in rejection. I felt really bad as he turned away I stopped him "Tom Wait", "What" he responded. "you're a really great guy and i would go out with you in a heartbeat if i was single" I tried to give him some re-assurance. He looked back with a face glaring with a f**k you attitude. " but you're not" he said coldly as he turned away. I went to find Esmerelda "I told him" i said, "good" she responded snidely uncrossing her arms.

        The guilt ran deep in me but everyone regrouped momentarily until Tom stole Ben and the guy with him. Sarah just stood with us waiting for Ben. We were hoping the concert would start soon. This band called The End of Silence came on these guys were the type of band that was just there and didn't stick out. It was probably just me cuz i was into lighter rock. After the first show Sarah left for the bathroom. I saw Tom against the wall and Ben was still in the pits waiting and zoning out. I looked over at Esmerelda and she was looking over at a bickering couple. I had no clue why she would be interested in that. I figured it was the right time to kiss her so i pulled her in. We ended up making out until the start of the second show.

        The second band was called The Fallen Angels and as they played i played along with the crowd and headbanged. I knew Ben and Tom were in the pits with that drunk most likely. After the 2nd show Ben appeared th be looking for Sarah. He walked over to us and looked around. It seemed as if he was pondering where Sarah was. I was concerned for Ben because he was so attatched to Sarah. It just might kill him one day and i didn't want to see that day. I saw Ben go for the back hall as the main band was setting up.The concert Diverted our attention it was the main band The arpeggios. Sarah came to chill with us in the middle of the concert but she didn't seem as upbeat as everyone else. 

        I figured her and Ben got in a fight or something. I couldn't see Ben or Tom anywhere in the pits. It didn't bother me i just listened to the rest of the main band. Towards the end of the concert Esmerelda averted her eyes to that big guy going into the back hall. I was curious as to what her deal was with this guy. When the show was over me and Esmerelda headed to the front doors with Sarah. Some guy ran through the front doors and shouted "please somebody call 911 my best friend is laying dead outside". We couldn't see clearly " who is that up front?" Sarah asked. " I don't know but im going to check it out" i replied. I made my way to the front of the crowd and it was Tom.

                                                              "Tom Whats going on" I asked
