my unfolding life

I walked across the cemetery for some reason I always felt at home here it was quiet and quiet here no strange questions were asked I was crazy about everyone who kept asking me how are you doing. I've found that people don't even really want to know the answer. so whenever someone asks me how are you doing well I say thank you. I'm going to live with me and I have to my sister needs me and of course I have my schooling my job at the local hardware store and of course my after-school activities the book club and cheerleading I sat down at the grave of my mother and little brother as I always do to think about everything I have been through and about what to do and of course about what I encounter so at this grave I feel understood and calm and not so alone in a world that keeps turning while I want to stop the time for a moment and think about how much I miss my mother and my brother it has already been 3 years since they died but the pain has not diminished I scroll through my diary go back to that moment and read my own story (how could this happen I feel lost and sad no one can tell me exactly what happened this morning only that my mother and brother will not come back) I close my diary again sadness dominates that memories. yes after 3 years it always seems fresh as if it were yesterday. I remember when that detective came to the door and asked if she could come in. I was a little confused and couldn't immediately pinpoint what she came for. she didn't just have that awful news to answer. all of a sudden I see a movement in the corner of my eye I shoot up in fright and take a good look in the direction where I saw it gosh it was just a bird. I have never seen such a big black crow before, which is crazy. when I look around me a little more closely I see that it has already become quite foggy in the cemetery I was very much in my own world that I had not even noticed. I decide to get up again and walk towards the path that leads to the exit. I get a bad feeling and start to walk a little faster all of a sudden there was an obstacle on the path where i was walking before i knew it i bumped into it i fell to the ground sitting on the ground i looked up then i saw him and he had the brightest blue eyes i had ever seen with the prettiest curly bright blonde hair. in surprise I stared at him until he said I know it's foggy but you can watch out a bit better yet I quickly shook my head back and forth trying to get my mind straight I tried to get up quickly and stammered sorry i'm really sorry i felt a bit uncomfortable with this dense fog i reached out and said hi i'm steffi he looked a little annoyed at my hand and without shaking my hand he said yes hi i'm Gabriel I have to go on while I kept looking at him a little surprised, his ring fell on me, he was big gold with a dark purple stone in it the words popped out before I realized what a beautiful ring I said and he smiled a little arrogantly nt and said thank you it's an heirloom then he started walking i looked at him puzzled after unable to move myself After a few minutes I found my strength and turned around I quickly walked on after the exit on the road towards home. all the way i saw his face in front of me those blue eyes that blonde hair i had never seen him before what crazy happens in this small town that not often everyone knows each other here. grandfathers and grandmothers grew up together fathers and mothers grew up together and so it continues in all ages. the local doctor even knows all residents. when i arrive home the door is already unlocked i walk in and see my sister sitting at the dining table i sit next to her and give her a kiss on the head how was your day she says. i smile sweetly at the and say yes school always the same how was your day. she smiles at me and starts to talk extensively about her day but I don't hear her in my head is still that boy with those bright blue eyes I can't shake it off. Luckily it is not noticeable so I nod in agreement and she talks about her day full of energy. I hear the door and turn my head on my cousin comes in. steffi lucci you are already home sorry i was stuck in the office. Daisy was the oldest cousin appointed as guardian after my mother and brother died in that accident and because my father had also passed away when I was 3 years old. hey daisy said don't worry we were just discussing the day. daisy was the sweetest girl I know she took on the role of guardian and went out of her way to make sure we didn't run out. daisy, do you mind if I go to a garden party tonight. yes go have fun but make sure you get home on time said daisy. I walked upstairs and in the meantime texted my best friend rose (rose picks me up at 8 o'clock for the garden party what are you wearing?) not much later her replies with photo of course (this one does not forget we have to match stef) I had to laugh because of her reaction she always wanted our outfits to match each other and even though I already had a short name, rose still made stef of it.I started my search in the wardrobe for something that would match rose's outfit. I found a nice pair of jeans with a green with glitter shirt in a kind of the same color as the pink skirt. I put everything ready on the bed and got into the shower. by the time I had finished the shower and had my outfit on, rose was already in the doorway I would help you with your make up yes thank u I said. I was happy rose was better at it than I now I shouldn't have to arrive at the party looking like a fool . when we finished we went to rose's car. luckily the ride to the garden party was short because I thought rose was really scary driver .when we entered the garden we saw how busy it was. rose said have they invited the whole school or something. I had to laugh and said it seems like yes, com we walk on to the snacks and drinks table, than we can get a drink right away.
