I had sat here for an hour listening to Lily’s tall tale, I couldn’t believe it, under my f*****g nose this whole time, I couldn’t believe it, by pursuing her I had put her in danger, psycho b***h had been stalking me for five years, every move I made she knew about, I thought I was free from her this whole time but she had been there all along lurking in the shadows, just waiting for the perfect moment to take everything from me, Kala was my everything and she took her away out of spite.
“How does it feel?” She asked me.
“What?” I gritted.
“Oh, you know, to have everything only to have it ripped away from you”
“f*****g sick b***h”
I stood up ready to charge, the rage building, bubbling deep inside of me with every second that passed.
“Ryker, No” Skye screamed.
“She’s f*****g playing games and we are wasting time”
“He wouldn’t hurt her, he loves her” Lily spoke softly.
“The f**k he does!”
“Tell me where she is now”
“I told you she was right under your nose, and you never knew it”
“Okay Lily, you want to play, let’s play”
“You’ve got five minutes to tell me where they are- “
“Or what”
“Pandemonium”
“You wouldn’t f*****g dare”
“Wouldn’t I? They would have a f*****g field day with your f****d up issues, Lily you’d be trapped like the f*****g insane person you are, oh can you imagine the experiments they’d do, you sure are a medical mystery”
Pandemonium would probably be the best place for her, she’d feel right at home with the criminally insane and I would finally be free from her, I needed her to tell me where Kala was first, I didn’t want to send her to pandemonium, nobody belonged there but I promised myself years ago if she went too far, she would leave me no choice and the lengths she had gone to, to get Kala out of my life was seriously unhinged, she was a danger to herself and others and my stupidity all these years had put the only woman I’d ever loved in danger and if anything happened to her I don’t think I’d ever be able to forgive myself, I lied to Kala earlier which had unknowingly put her in danger, I had to be free from my past and I’d made arrangements to be finally free from the chain that had bound me.
“Ryker, no, please, I’m sorry” she pleaded.
“Where is she Lily?”
“You can’t send me there, please”
“I said where the f**k is she” I screamed.
She shook her head in a daze, blankly staring through me, f**k, she was supposed to tell me what I wanted to hear not revert to a f*****g vegetable, this was f*****g pointless, I was getting nowhere fast.
“Skye, wake her up”
“Don’t think she’s asleep”
“f**k sake Skye, snap her out of it”
“You got it, brother”
Skye strode towards Lily like a prey that was hunting lunch, I wondered what she was going to do to release Lily from the shock and madness she was experiencing, with one loud clap, Skye brought her hand down across Lily’s face and smacked her hard, leaving a red handprint mark across her face where her hand had been moments ago.
“What the f**k” Lily screamed.
“Was that really necessary Skye?” I tried to hide my glee.
“No, but it sure was fun” she winked.
“She hit me, she f*****g hit me” Lily screamed.
“Oh, don’t be so dramatic darling, I was helping, you was experiencing shock”
“Helping? Helping, you hit me”
‘Yes, darling, tragic” Skye rolled her eyes at Lily.
She stood there defiantly rubbing her cheek which made me laugh, I used to spank her arse harder than that and she f*****g loved it, used to beg for more, should have known then what a sadistic b***h she was.
“Where is she Lily?”
“Don’t you get sick of hearing the sound of your own voice” she huffed.
“No, now f*****g tell me”
“This conversation is boring” she feigned a pretend yawn.
“I don’t care, I will keep saying it until you tell me”
“I already told you”
“No, you didn’t”
“Yes, I did”
“Why would I still be talking to you if I knew”
“Maybe you like the pleasure of my company” she retorted as I snorted at her humorous response.
“Where- “
“She’s with my f*****g brother okay”
“You have a brother?”
She smirked in my direction, what brother, I thought she was an only child but then again, I’d never took any notice of her personal life.
“Why would your brother want Kala?”
“I told you he’s in love with her, duh”
“How does your brother know Kala?”
“Maybe you should ask her”
“Great idea, tell me where they are, and I will”
“You know I do find it very funny”
“What?”
“Where was you before you came here?”
“The Scarlet”
“Bingo” she winked at me.
What? I couldn’t believe it, she was there the whole f*****g time, the whole damn time, right under my nose, she was within arms reach and I didn’t even know it and I had wasted hours here arguing with Lily trying to find her and she was right there with me, f**k.
“Where- “
I never got to finish my sentence, four tall burly men dressed in white coats barged into kala’s apartment, f**k, I was close, so close to finding exactly where she was hidden, they was supposed to wait for my call.
“Hello Lily” one of the men spoke to her like she was a child as they slowly moved towards her.
“Don’t f*****g come near me” she screamed.
“Calm down Lily, we are here to help”
“I don’t need f*****g help” she screamed once more.
All four men charged towards Lily, two grabbing her by her arms as she writhed under there grip, screaming, and trying to break free from there grip.
“Let me f*****g go” she screamed.
“You was supposed to wait” I gritted.
“I’m sorry mister Jones, we waited as long as we could”
Not f*****g long enough, I still didn’t know whereabouts in the club she was and now Lily looked like she hated me as she stared daggers into my soul.
“You called them?” she quizzed me.
“Lily, listen- “
“Bastard” she spat at me.
I walked up to her as the men restrained her.
“Listen Lily, you have the chance to do the right thing here, tell me whereabouts she is”
She smiled, I thought finally I was getting through to her, I saw a glimmer of the sweet girl I used to know, a glimmer of hope that she would do something selfless for a change, that she would push her feelings to the side and help me rescue Kala.
Then it was gone.
She spat in my face.
“f**k you” were the last words she uttered before the men dragged her kicking and screaming out of the apartment, as I wiped the spit that was smeared across my cheek.
“Come on brother” Skye touched my arm lightly.
“Let’s go get your girl”
