Chapter Eleven: Confused

On their way to Armstrong's Mansion, Violet is silent while she's looking out the window of the car. Although she noticed Mishka and the driver looking confused because of her action, she chose to ignore them since she also didn't understand herself. As she held Nickel in her arms, Violet found herself stroking his hair while she smiled from ear to ear. Violet knows that she's not related to Nickel. However, she can't deny the fact that she's happy being called "mommy" by him. Aside from that, Violet promised herself that she would do everything to protect the child in her arms. Suddenly, Violet creases her forehead when she hears that her cellphone is ringing, and when she looks at who is calling her, she chooses to ignore it. For that reason, Mishka can't help but look secretly at Violet, since she can't be wrong that there is something wrong with the woman who is her boss. Even though Mishka wants to ask Violet, she looks for the perfect timing since she's afraid of being scolded for being a nagger.

Since she's annoyed with Dustin, Violet turns off her cellphone before putting it in her pocket. And then, she continues stroking Nickel's soft hair with a smile on her face. Furthermore, Violet notices that the driver and Mishka are confused because of her actions. Rather than thinking about that idea, she chooses to ignore it and continue what she's doing in the backseat of the car. After that, she takes a deep breath, like she's calming herself so she won't be irritated again whenever she thinks about what happened earlier in Armstrong's Empire. Remembering that woman, Violet feels like her blood boils like water in the pot, thinking that Dustin is looking for a perfect mother for Nickel. As for Mishka, she can't help but ask Violet since she's itching to know what happened in Armstrong's Empire.

"Ma'am Violet, are you okay? You look irritated at something," Mishka asks in confusion.

"I'm doing alright, Mishka," Violet answered while she was still looking outside the window.

"Are you sure, Ma'am?"

"Yes, Mishka, I'm just annoyed since I didn't expect that Dustin was a womanizer."

With that, Mishka became silent because of what she heard from Violet. Rather than talking to Violet, Mishka chose to keep her mouth shut since she knew that she didn't have the right to ask questions of the woman who was her boss. Then, Mishka realized why Violet was looking annoyed at something. All of a sudden, Mishka can't help but smile, thinking that Violet is jealous of another woman who is close to Dustin. Until they arrive at the mansion, Violet is still quiet. With that, Violet gets out of the car slowly while she's still holding Nickel, who's still sleeping in her arms. Since she's going somewhere, Violet gives Nickel to Mishka, who is now bewildered because of her action.

"Mishka, here's Nickel. Take him to his room. Violet explains to Mishka, "I need to go since I have important things that need to be finished," Violet explains to Mishka, having a serious expression on her face.

"Be careful on your way, Ma'am Violet."

"I will, Mishka. If he wakes up and looks for me, just call me and I'll come back here immediately."

"Noted, Ma'am Violet," Mishka answered while smiling from ear to ear.

Without a second thought, Violet leaves in a hurry, since up until now she has been irritated with Dustin. Instead of using one of Dustin's cars, Violet chose to walk because she didn't want to use the things that he owned. As she was walking outside the village, she noticed a familiar car. That's why Violet chose to hide from him.

In West's Mansion, Red is in her room, sitting on her bed while her fist turns into a tight ball. Looking at the photo in her hand, until now, she hadn't forgotten how her daughter died because of them. And so, to take her revenge on them, Red promised herself that she would do everything to make them suffer at her hand. Red is in the middle of remembering the past when she hears a sudden knock outside her room. With a serious expression written on her face, Red stands up from where she sits and opens the door to her room.

"Red, Sir. Raeburn is looking for you," Daisy said with a frightened look.

"Okay, I'll be there in a minute."

After that, Daisy leaves while she's still looking scared about something. Instead of asking Daisy, Red chose to fix herself and look presentable in front of Raeburn. When she was finished with what she was doing, Red left her room and decided to go into Raeburn's office inside the mansion. Before entering Raeburn's office, Red knocks, then opens the door. And then, she saw Raeburn sitting on his swivel chair with a furious expression, causing her to get confused about what happened. As she was walking towards Raeburn, Red didn't understand why she felt frightened while looking at her boss.

Suddenly, Red found herself sweating too much when she was already in front of Raeburn. As for Raeburn, he clenched his jaw while his fist turned into a tight ball because of the madness he felt about what he had discovered with his private investigator. After that, Raeburn looks at Red with a furious expression while looking at their maid.

"I-Is there something wrong, Sir? Raeburn?" Red asks Raeburn why, stuttering in front of him.

"Did you know that too?"

"W-What do you mean, Sir? Raeburn?" Red asks in confusion.

"I asked if you also know that she is acting as a mother figure to someone else's child!?"

"N-No, Sir. Raeburn."

Raeburn shakes his head because of what he heard from Red. That's why he can't help but feel disappointed with her. Since Red didn't know anything about what he had discovered, he told her to leave his office immediately. Raeburn was alone in his office when he chose to drink his wine instead of thinking about what he had discovered. Rather than confronting Violet about what he found out, Raeburn stops himself since he knows that there is nothing new, since his daughter is always making him disappointed.
