Vanessa

Vanessa and Jasmine had a great time during the tour Jaxson and the guys gave them. They noticed a lot of cute guys around Campus. It was a little tempting to start dating while at school. Vanessa was waiting for her mate. She wanted it to be special and she save all her first for him. When they went to the dining all the girls were shocked that the school provided so many options for dinner. It was amazing. Vanessa kept smelling fresh baked cookies but couldn’t find them at the dessert bar, kind of disappointing. When they were eating, they started hearing a table being loud and making fun of a really cute guy. Vanessa couldn’t look away. When she realized that his friends were making fun of him because he has a girlfriend, she felt a little jealous but let it go since she was waiting for her mate anyways. It wasn’t like she was going to try and date him. Even if he was very attractive. The girls went back to their apartment after dinner. They took turns taking a shower and put on a movie to relax before bed. They wanted to be well rested for orientation in the morning.

Vanessa and Jasmine woke up early to get ready and meet the guys for breakfast. They joked around and had a good time. They separated when the guys went to their classes, since they were 2nd year students, they didn’t have orientation. The girls found a spot near the front of the room. Vanessa started smelling the fresh baked cookies again and looking around. She saw the same guy from last night near the back and once again felt disappointed that he already has a girlfriend. She tried to shake the feeling away. She must be going crazy; she’s waiting for her mate and can’t be distracted by random cute guys.

When orientation was over Vanessa and Jasmine walked out of the hallway and stood off to the side under a tree so they could go over their schedules. They only had 2 classes together. Once again Vanessa noticed the cute guy, when she realized she was staring at his back she made herself look away. The girls said bye and went their separate ways to class. Vanessa had pack financing for her first class. Since she was a Betas daughter, she was likely to be mated to a ranking member. Which means she needs to be able to help her mate with pack duties. Jasmine was likely to be mated to a ranking member or become a Luna, so her classes were the same as Vanessas but instead of an elective course she has to take a class specific to being a Luna. Jasmine begged Vanessa to join her in the class, but she wasn’t sure. Vanessa doubted she would need it and signed up for Ceramics.

The day went quickly. The only classes they shared were History 101 and training. For dinner they decided to pick up food at the dining hall and eat in their apartment so they can tell each other all about their day. Vanessa felt blessed to be able to share this experience with her best friend. They put on a movie and sat down eating the Chinese food they picked up. It was a great first day. They repeated the same routine from the night before and went to bed. Vanessa had a restless night, tossing and turning. She kept dreaming of the cute guy. Never seeing his eyes, just his side profile and his back. She woke up covered in sweat and had to shower again in the morning.

Since she was having difficulty sleeping, she decided to get ready for the day. She curled her hair and put on a cute white sundress with some strappy sandals. Once again opting for minimal makeup. By the time Jasmine woke up Vanessa had already gone down to the dining hall to pick up some coffee and breakfast. They ate at the island in the kitchenette. Vanessa had this restless feeling that wouldn’t go away. She tried to calm herself down and was trying to be optimistic that today would be another good day. Even if she was exhausted. They were still early so they decided to go meet Jaxson and the guys in the dining hall to hangout before classes start. When they entered the room that scent was stronger than the other times causing Vanessa to walk around looking for it. She didn’t understand why that scent was so intoxicating to her but she couldn’t help but want to find it. She walked to the other side of the dining hall and was directly behind the cute guy. He had a girl curled up on his side with his arm around her.
