Another Carnival tonight. There’s always something going on in the streets here. Best if I go out for some food now and beat the crowds. I should embrace them more, but I’m just not a fan of people. Although, that is why I’m here. To lay low in a place that’s hard to find a single soul.
I could’ve picked somewhere in India, I suppose. It’s just as sweltering, and there are a million people everywhere you go - literally in most cases. But I hate the stench of the popular spice blend and how it permeates the air. I’d also have to be careful flaunting too much money around. And taking anyone out would only raise more questions about my identity or cause another quick flight. Again.
