Chapter 18
"Why do you think the young master suddenly sent us here?" Esmeralda inquired of the house's head maid as she wiped the plate.
"I wonder, too. Haven't they've been gone from Casa de Luna since Señor died? What could the Young Master have been thinking?" a man laying plants inside inquired, shaking his head.
"The young master's lover is coming, so don't be surprised," the head maid replied with a smile.
"Young master has a girlfriend?" both of them inquired. "With that attitude of his?" The old lady shook her head and cracked up at what the two had said. She understood why they reacted this way, and she assumed that everyone would, especially his grandmother.
"How come you're surprised? Our boss is very masculine and attractive, isn't he?"
"That's right, I was blinded by his handsome face that almost got fired for staring at him. The only thing I don't understand is how he managed to get a girlfriend with his behavior? And women don't interest him, right?" Esmeralda replied.
"Everyone changes, like young master. Wasn't he a happy man before his parents died? But since his parents died, he has changed. You know, the young lady might be the answer for his return, our once happy master," the head maid replied with a smile. The two nodded and resumed their work. The head maid walked through the entire mansion to ensure that everything was in order as the young master desired.
Even she was shocked by his sudden return to the place he had left for two years, and even more so by the fact that he was bringing a young woman with him.
Even though she didn't understand what was going on, she was content with what was going on. It appears that the young master's return is just getting underway.
The head maid was deep in thought when the voice of the guard at the gate was heard over the intercom system, "They've arrived. Get ready." The staff moved quickly inside and out of the way of the girl.
One of the strange requests of the young boss is not to approach or even speak to the girl. They all wanted to inquire, but none of them had the authority to do so.
After some time, the young master's friend's car arrived. A gleaming red sports car. The old lady noticed a young woman emerge from the car, which she could see from inside the mansion.
She couldn't see her face much because of the distance, but she could see her very long, straight, black hair that shone in the sun's reflection.
She has a porcelain complexion that sparkles in the sunlight. The old lady knew the girl was the daughter of a wealthy man even before she saw her face.
A few minutes later, another woman appeared, and she understood that it was the girl's mother. They conversed some more before entering the mansion.
When she saw the girl up close, she was astounded. It's quite lovely. Her face, in addition to her hair and complexion, is stunning.
The face shape is small and heart-shaped, with large eyes and fluffy eyelashes. Even though she doesn't, her eyes appear to have make-up on. A small but sharp nose that complements the entire face of the girl. Her thick lips are something most women covet. Her face and body are both perfectly shaped. Her curvy body shape was visible despite the fact that she was only wearing a white t-shirt and faded jeans. She wouldn't be surprised if it drew their master's attention.
She approached the three, "Is she what the young master is talking about?" she asked, still looking at the girl. The lady returned the smile and waved, "Hello!"
The girl appears to be pleasant and courteous. She secretly observed how it warmed the young master's frozen heart.
"Welcome to Casa de Luna, Lady Samantha," The old lady says.
"Thank you very much, I'll be in your care," Samantha said, bowing down to pay respect, which overwhelmed the elderly lady.
Meanwhile, after entrusting Samantha to Manang Lucinda, Kheed immediately dialed the number of the person who had directed him to pick up the mother and daughter. "Hello, boss, when are you coming?"
"Luther is still finishing up the meeting with the investors; maybe around three in the afternoon," Kheed said, hearing Lucas's voice on the other end of the line instead of Luther's.
"Hurry up, dude, I'm running out of explanations to pass on to Samantha. There are so many questions that aren't in the reviewer you gave me, I've done so many adlibs in this mission, and then your friend is just giving orders. I told you that I should be the one to pretend instead of him," Kheed whined, shaking his head.
"We can't do anything if this is what Luther wants; you just follow," the friend replied, laughing. "In any case, I have to hang up because I'm still taking care of a lot of paperwork here."Lucas said before hanging up.
The young man shook his head and took a deep breath, wondering how he would answer the rest of the girl's questions.
Since the hospital, he has been the one to explain and answer her questions. There were some questions that Lucas gave him to answer, but the girl had many that his friend did not. He had no choice but to make another lie. But he wasn't sure he'd be able to think more to the girl if their entire confrontation had been a lie.
"Kheed!" he heard Samantha's voice. She smiles and waves at him. He waved back. "The food is ready! Let's go eat!"
"OK! I'm going there for a second!" I yelled back and forth. "Don't blame me if you don't get to eat any!" Even from outside, he can hear the girl laughing before entering the mansion. He shook his head and smiled bitterly, recalling someone her age.
He sighed, attempting to forget the past, and forced a smile before entering the mansion. In this situation, he can't be remembering such a traumatic event.
In front of him appeared the young woman who was very attractive to look at while eating. Every bite seemed to be delicious, and Manang Lucinda clearly enjoyed it. He will no longer be perplexed as to why he got close to the girl so quickly.
"Kheed! Come here! Manang's cooking is so good!" It waved with a smile, holding a piece of chicken in the air. He laughed as he shook his head at what she was doing.
She's mischievous but not annoying. Even if the boss ordered him to do it, he appears to be interested in being with the girl. "Leave me some!" I yelled, pretending to rush closer.
What happened next went swimmingly. He introduced the girl to the young man's staff, particularly the head maid, Manang Lucinda.
It was the one who had been with the Cromwells the longest and knew the most about what the young man desired. She is requested by the young man. He requires Manang because she is aware of everything the young man desires and dislikes.
Kheed observed the girl enjoying the location with her mother, and it does seem that they will have no trouble keeping the girl here.
Later, he received a call from a friend while smoking on one side of the mansion, not far from the mother and daughter who were looking at the plants around the mansion. "Are you on the way, Lucas?"
(This isn't why I called.)
"Ow, I wonder, You miss me?" he teased. "Don't worry babe, you're still the number one here in my heart. This is just an order from the boss, don't be jealous."
(Fvck you.) He just laughed at what he said.
(I called because of Samantha's brother.)
When he said the next thing, my face became solemn while I observed the two ladies as i nod in agreement with what Lucas was saying. I put down the phone and moved closer to the mother and daughter who were laughing.
"Oh, Kheed, where have you been? Mama and I have had a lot of conversations," she said, smiling at me. I also responded with a smile before looking hesitantly at her mother. "Why hijo? Is there a problem?" the mother asked, noticing my strange expression.
Kheed didn't know how to bring up the issue without worrying her, but he knew he had to. He took a deep breath before saying, "Your son, ma'am." When the son was mentioned, the lady's face became concerned, "W-what's wrong with Hunter?"
I took another deep breath before telling them the news, "The university your son attends called and said... Your son ran away and is now missing,"
