“C'mon," Jack said, waving his hand for Neo to follow.
Neo looked back at Aliyah who was still chatting with her sister and the older lady. Then he followed Jack inside and to the bathroom.
“Shirt," Jack said. His tone was direct and serious but not mean.
Neo hesitated. Jack gave him a stern look.
“I'm not going to ask any questions, Neo. I'm just trying to help you out here."
Neo shrugged off his shirt, wincing through the pain. Jack had started digging through the cabinets and he pulled out some bandages and some ointment.
“When I patted you on the shoulder earlier I thought something was off, and now I see that I was right."
