PROLOGUE
Sia was standing in the corner of the ballroom, sipping her champagne and observing the crowd. She was a successful marketing executive, and events like these were part of her job description. The charity event was organized to raise funds for a cause she cared deeply about, but she couldn't help feeling bored.
That's when she saw him. Arden. He was talking to a group of people, but Sia couldn't take her eyes off him. He was tall, with piercing blue eyes, and a chiseled jawline. He was dressed in a black tuxedo, and his dark hair was perfectly styled.
Arden, on the other hand, had noticed Sia the moment she walked into the room. He couldn't believe his luck. He was a successful architect, but he never expected to meet someone like Sia at a charity event. She was wearing a red gown that hugged her curves in all the right places. Her long brown hair was cascading down her back, and she had a smile that lit up the room.
As they made their way towards each other, Sia felt her heart racing. She had never been this attracted to someone before. Arden, too, was feeling the same way. They exchanged pleasantries and started talking. It was as if they had known each other for years.
The more they talked, the more they realized they had a lot in common. They were both passionate about their careers, loved to travel, and had a taste for fine wine. They spent the whole evening talking and laughing, and before they knew it, the event was over.
As they said goodbye, Sia couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness. She didn't want the night to end. Arden, too, was feeling the same way. He knew he had to see her again.
Sia's POV
I felt a sudden jolt in my chest when I first laid eyes on Alex. I wasn't the one to believe in love at first sight, but there was something about him that drew me in. As I watched him across the room, I couldn't help but feel a little envious of the group of people surrounding him, stealing his attention away from me.
But when he finally made his way over to me, all those feelings of envy melted away. He was charming, with a disarming smile that made me feel at ease. As we talked, I found myself opening up to him in a way I never had with anyone else. It was as if we were kindred spirits, two people who had been searching for each other out whole lives.
As the night went on, I felt a sense of excitement building within me. I had never felt this way before, and it scared me a little. But as I looked into Arden's eyes, I knew that I wanted to take a chance on him. I didn't know what the future held, but I knew that I wanted him to be a part of it.
As we said our goodbyes, my heart felt heavy. I didn't want the night to end, and I couldn't wait to see him again.
They both don't know that their meeting was the result of a love conspiracy, but for now, all they could think about was their feelings they had stirred within each other.
Arden's POV:
I couldn't believe my luck when I saw Sia across the room. I had been feeling a little jaded lately, and I wasn't expecting to meet someone like her at a charity event. As I made my way over to her, I felt a sense of anticipation building within me. There was something about her that I found incredibly alluring.
As we talked, I found myself becoming more and more captivated by Sia. She was intelligent, witty, and had a warmth that I found irresistible. We talked about everything from our careers to our favorite travel destinations, and I felt a connection with her that I had never felt with anyone else.
As the night wore on, I realized that I didn't want the evening to end. I wanted to spend more time with Sia, to get to know her better. And when I finally said goodbye to her, I knew that I would do whatever it took to see her again.
He did not know that their meeting was the result of a love conspiracy. But even if he had known, he wouldn't have cared. All he knew was that he had met someone special, someone who had the potential to change his life forever. As he made his way home, his mind was filled with thoughts of Sia, and he couldn't wait to see her again.
Little did they know, their interaction was not a coincidence. There was a love conspiracy at play, and they were just pawns in a bigger game. But for now, they were just two people who had met and fallen in love.
