Dylan's POV The moment Elder Charles leaves the room, my knees give out. I crumble to the floor, dragging Anna down with me. Her gasp cuts through the air as her body hits the cold ground, but I can’t bring myself to look at her. My chest feels too heavy. My heart—what’s left of it—is pounding with questions and dread. How does Elder Charles know? How the hell does he know I no longer have my wolf, Titan? Only one person was supposed to know that secret. Before I can even think his name, the dungeon door bursts open with a loud clang. He runs in—my gamma, Kevin—with four guards in tow. His face is twisted, eyes shining like he’s about to cry.
