Chapter 8 Journey Together

Cathy pov

It's the summer holidays. I will be going back to school in the fall for my final two years of school.

Right now, I have to attend a meeting with his parents. During the meeting, we spoke about me becoming luna of the pack and my warrior training as well as my luna training over the holidays as well as when I started school and how these training will affect my classes.

I told them why not incorporate the basic luna and alpha training in the last year or two of high school so that it won't be so much of a struggle when a female is mated to an alpha or a beta, or when a young man reach the age of taking over as an alpha.

It means that person will have the basic knowledge of the know-how. Therefore, when such a person reach to that level, they will basically know what to do and what to expect.

Over the next two years, life has been good, but it was also a struggle. This has to do with the fact that I have school plus luna training with luna Sandra after school and on the weekends plus physical training in the mornings before school. So, a lot of days, I was exhausted.

But Luna Sandra told me what to do to make my days a little easier she told me, "You need to prioritize what is important and set down in a timetable format so you will not be so over whelm, I know it is hard. I know you are trying, but I will help you draft up a timetable." She also told me I do not need to do warriors training every day. She told me that is why I have physical education classes at school, so I can get to do the rest of my training in that class.

There are also classes if a female ends up mated to a beta or a gamma. For male student, their classes are even harder because a lot is expected from an alpha as well as a beta or a gamma.

For training classes, the final year students, their classes are mainly based on alpha and luna training in combat and how to lead a pack.

Anthony pov

Over the past two years, life in the pack has been a little bit of a struggle for me. Since my mate has to finish school. Along with her luna training that she is doing with my mother plus warrior training that she has to do on her free days.

I hardly spent any time with her. the only time I got to see her is when she is with my mother, and that is like every other day. Apart from that, I would have to wait for training just to see her.

But when I do see her, I made it my duty to find out if she is ok.

It is not a lot of time really to spend with your mate, especially if you have alpha training to do as well.

I have also chosen my best friend Clinton to be my beta and my cousin Charles to be my gamma.

Clinton and Charles have been a big help to me over these last few months. There are times I feel has if I could not make it because I was not around my mate as often as I should.

There are other times I would just pop up at her school just to see her. We would spend her lunch time together. That has helped me a lot.

Clinton is mated to June's twin sister Grace, while Charles is to June. I just don't want to question the moon goddess on that one.

Grace and June are also doing their final year in high school. They are both a few months older than my mate.

My biggest hurdle is learning about the powers that I have. I can control water, earth, and fire.

Sandra (luna of blue lagoon pack) pov

I have trained and watched Cathy improve herself in becoming the packs luna over the past two years.

She has accomplished so much. You could not tell she wasn't human.

I have watched her pick up the mantle of doing things on her own. She used to ask me or give me her idea of what she thought should be done.

Until one day, I told her she did not need my permission to do anything because she is the future of the pack.

"Luna Sandra....."

"Cataleya, how my times have I told you just call me Sandra or mom," I said to her.

"Ok, Sandra, what do you think about making the orphanage a bit bigger by adding an additional wing so the children can be more comfortable. Also, since we have more warriors and guards, we could also expand their living space as well. I have visited there, and their living space is getting a bit cramp, especially for the mated guards' house,"Cathy said to me.

"Why don't you go to Anthony and pitch it to him and hear what he has to say about it,"I told her.

"Do you believe he will listen to me?"she asked.

"He will. Since you are is mate and his equal," I answered her.

From that moment on, she just took off like a rocket and took the lead. But, she is so young, just seventeen.

Catherine and Andrew pov

It has been two years since we are here in the Blue Lagoon Pack. And we watch our daughter move from this shy simple girl to becoming the future luna of the pack.

This was not what we had expected when we moved here that she would be mated to the future alpha of the pack. Much more to become the packs future luna.

We are truly happy for her. She has developed so much over the years. Now she is so mature for her age.

We are still wondering if she will choose to stay human or become a werewolf, but that is her choice to make.

Daniel pov

My son has shown me over the past few years that he can run the pack. Also, his mate she has proven to me that she is capable of running the pack alongside my son.

I will grant my son his wish when he told me he will not run the pack until she has come of age.

Since she will be graduating this year from school, I will crown both of them, alpha king and luna queen of this pack.

Looking back when my son told me that Cathy was his mate, I was totally against it, but when I saw my son stood up to me and defended his mate. I told myself that if he can stand against me as his father for his mate, he will certainly defend the pack.

I can now say that I am very proud of my son.

I will announce to the pack when both ceremonies will be kept.
