My body froze when Edward gave me the unexpected spank. I couldn’t control the emotions my body exhibited, his palm landed on my bare cheek, exactly what I needed. A moan escaped from my mouth before I could stop it.

The moan was all the invitation Edward needed. He spun me around and lifted me like I weighed nothing but a piece of paper, raw fire burning in his eyes.

“Do you like this princess?” He asked, slipping a finger into my expectant wet core, slowly twisting his fingers and curling them inside me.

I wasn’t going to respond to that question. I’m too shy too. I closed my eyes shut, enjoying Edward’s adventure in my insides.

“Princess if you don’t like this I’m going to keep trying all the methods in my book until you beg me to stop.”

Oh but I wasn’t going to beg him to stop.

I was going to beg him for more.

Sold and Stolen
I was being sold! That was the only way to put it. “Mom, say something.” My voice trembled as I looked at her, desperate for her to tell me this was all a mistake. But she wouldn’t meet my eyes, she kept her eyes fixed on the floor. “Mom.” A tear slipped down my cheek. “Please talk to Dad. You can’t do this to me.” I rushed to her, grabbing her hands, shaking them as if I could rattle her back to her senses. Praying, hoping, but she stood still and silent, also refusing to meet my eyes. A sharp voice cut through the air. “Enough with your nonsense.” My father’s tone was cold and final. He picked up his cigar from the ashtray and leaned back into the reclining sofa, watching me like I was a disgusting inconvenience. “The decision has been made,” he said. “How else do you want to be useful if not this?” I swallowed hard, my heart pounding heavily against my chest. “Do you know how much we’ve spent on you?” He took a slow drag of his cigar, exhaling smoke like a verdict. “And for what? Nothing to show for it.” “But Dad” My voice trembled, trying to explain myself. “I’ve not gotten a job yet because I’m interning, please give me some time, I promise to make you and mom proud.” “When? When?” He slammed his palm against the armrest. “You think we’ll keep waiting? Until when? Until I’m too old to eat meat?” His eyes burned with anger. “You’re the worst investment I’ve ever made.” Investment. The word pierced into my heart, cutting deeper into me than a saw blade would. I turned to Mom, pleading with my eyes, begging her to fight for me. But she wouldn’t. Her shoulders sagged as if she had already let me go. My legs gave out and I dropped to my knees, clutching my father’s leg. “Please, Dad… Mom… please.” My voice cracked, raw with desperation. “I swear I’ll make you proud. I’ll get a job, I’ll..” “No more excuses.” The anger in his tone sent chills down my spine. Tears streamed down my face, my hands trembling as I held onto him like my life depended on him . “I’ve been good my whole life. I’ve done everything you wanted. I never went to parties, never disobeyed you.” I cried, my breath coming out in shudders. “Why are you throwing me away like this?” No answer. Just silence. And I realized then, my pleas didn’t matter. I didn’t matter. I remained on the ground. For hours even after my parents had gone back to their rooms. My youngest sibling walked into the room. “I’m sorry Leah.” He said as he pulled me in for a hug. Seeing how sweet ten-year old David was to me, I burst out crying again. I was drained mentally and physically from all the crying. “David, nothing is wrong, I just got a little sick.” I tried to cover up the whole situation. I didn’t want David to know what was going on, and besides, he was too young. An idea struck me. “David, could you lend me your device?” I didn’t have one since my parents refused to fix my six years old iPhone 7. David stretched out his hands and handed me his phone. I typed in the content of my message and hit the send button. This was my only hope. He’s the only one I know that had the power and influence to help me. I’d rather get married to the devil I know than the angel I didn’t know. I handed David his phone and gave him my last hug. Tears welled in my eyes as the thought of leaving the state to marry the son of the richest man in the country crossed my mind. I didn’t deserve this. I sent David out and wallowed in my pity. Why me? Are they my biological parents? I still have two siblings ahead of me, my sister and eldest brother. Why pick me? Mum had always looked at me with that emptiness in her eyes, no emotions , and that was the same look she gave me today . The look on her face was indifferent. I didn’t do anything wrong. I couldn’t control the tears rushing out of my eyes. I felt betrayed. I felt like I’d been stripped of the only thing I thought I had… family. David walked back inside the living room. “Mom says to call you, the Hemsworth ride has arrived.” So soon? Since when had they signed the deal. Since when? David followed as I walked into my small cubicle room. I started picking my pieces of worn out clothes. “I’ll help you.” David offered I was the one with the smallest room in the house. I had no problem with that. I own only 7 pieces of clothing in total. Compared to the rest of my siblings I was beginning to see a pattern. I was like an outcast. Dad laid off the maid once I grew of age and made me take over the maintenance of the house. I had no problem with it since I enjoyed doing the chores. Thinking back, I realized I had been treated differently from the rest of the family. I walked downstairs with my bag, David walking slowly behind me. “Mom, Dad.” I looked into their eyes to see if a miracle would happen. “Mom…” I dropped my bag and held unto mom’s hand. And for the first time, she looked at me, straight in the eyes without emotions . “Mr Hemsworth awaits you.” She said, and for a brief moment, I saw a triumphant smile on her face. And then she left, turning her back on me. I wiped my tears and gave dad one final look. This was real. They both seemed satisfied. I realized. I walked outside the house and into the Limousine parked outside. I looked around, like I was doing my last salute. Neighbors were peeping from their windows. I had just put my first leg in the limo, halfway into it when a roar of engines filled the air. A speed bike appeared from nowhere, pausing to a brutal halt which made a loud screeching noise. Behind him, a fleet of luxurious vehicles and cars followed suit. All sleek, black and intimidating. He is here. And he came in style. My heart pounded, a mix of relief and fear washing through me. The leader stepped out from a Bentley, his boot crunching against the gravel as he stepped forward. His voice boomed, deep and commanding, shaking the air around us. “Who dares take what’s mine?” His voice echoing in the streets. He ignores the crowd beginning to build up and without hesitation goes on one knee before me, looking straight into my eyes. “Allow me to be your knight in shining armor.” I looked at my father, his face full of rage. “Maleah, how dare you?” He bellowed. I gently placed my hand in the leader’s rough palm. His fingers closed around mine comfortingly. Without another word, he scooped me up in bridal style and walked slowly to his Bentley. Daring anyone to follow him. I heard whispers from the crowd. Every other sound was drowned as these men, the most feared mafia, brought their engines back to life. I tried to tell him something but he- “Shhhh, princess. We’d talk when we get home.” Home?
