As Mr. Evan stepped out of the car , a man in a tailored black suit, his silver hair slicked back, hastened towards him with an almost exaggerated reverence. He bowed deeply, his spine forming a perfect ninety-degree angle. "Mr. Evan, an honor to meet you in person," he said, his voice dripping with deference as he straightened up his suit.
Mr. Evan acknowledged him with a curt nod, his silence more commanding than any words could ever be. The man, seemingly unfazed, gestured towards his office. "This way, sir."
As we followed him, the air was thick with an unspoken tension that seemed to cling to every surface. Once seated, the man turned to me with an expectant smile. "What course have you decided to major in?"
I hesitated, my words tangling in my throat. "Uhh... I really like arts," I managed to stammer out.
The man's smile never wavered. "Okay, I'll make some preparations for you. For now, just sign these documents, and we'll be on our way to your dorm."
As he produced a stack of papers from his desk, Mr. Evan's voice cut through the room, low and authoritative. "Take me to the most expensive dorm. I want the best."
The man's mask of professionalism almost cracked, his eyes flickering with a mixture of fear and obsequiousness. "Y-yes, sir," he stuttered, his fingers trembling slightly as he handed me the papers.
The elevator ride was oppressive, the silence heavy with unspoken threats. The man's tie seemed to tighten around his neck, his forehead beading with sweat droplets that threatened to trickle down his face.
When we finally arrived at the top floor, he pushed open the door to a room that left me breathless. It was an opulent suite, complete with a spacious living area and a bedroom that seemed to have been plucked straight from a luxury catalog. The furnishings were sleek and modern, the décor tasteful and refined. It was a space that whispered wealth and exclusivity.
The man handed Mr. Evan the card with a bow, his eyes downcast. "Thank you sir," he murmured, before hastily departing.
As soon as the door closed behind him, Mr. Evan's demeanor shifted. He moved with a predator's grace, pinning me against the wall with an ease that left me gasping. His hot breath danced across my neck, his lips grazing my skin as he whispered, "I own you. I do not want men around you under any circumstances. Else..."
His words were cut short by the sound of the door bursting open. The man from earlier stumbled in, his face etched with panic. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry, Mr. Evan. Forgive me," he begged, his eyes burning with a mixture of fear and desperation.
Mr. Evan's gaze turned glacial, his eyes flashing with a warning. The man didn't wait for a response, fleeing the room as quickly as he had entered. The door slammed shut behind him, leaving me trapped in a silence that seemed to vibrate with tension.
As I stood there, pinned beneath Mr. Evan's intense gaze, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was caught in a game where the rules were far from clear, and the stakes were higher than I could ever imagine.
I swallowed hard, trying to process the whirlwind of emotions that had just transpired. "But who is that man?" I pressed on, curiosity getting the better of me.
Mr. Evan's gaze narrowed, his eyes seeming to bore into my very soul. "Someone who knows better than to interrupt me," he replied, his voice dripping with menace.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as he stepped back, releasing me from his grasp. "Let's get one thing straight," he said, his voice cold and calculating. "You are mine now. You will do as I say, and you will not question me."
I nodded, my heart racing with a mix of fear and uncertainty. What had I gotten myself into? And what did Mr. Evan plan to do with me?
As I stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Mr. Evan turned to leave. "I'll give you time to settle in," he said, his voice devoid of emotion. "But don't think for a moment that you're free."
With that, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving me to wonder what lay ahead. The door closed behind him, and I was left alone in the opulent suite, my mind reeling with questions and fears.
But as I looked around the room, sighed in relief atleast I was out of that creepy mansion and away from Evan
