Chapter 13

Jasmine's POV

We are currently sat in the pack's trucks heading for the Snow Pack in Scotland. Alpha Daniel agreed to the proposal so now I am heading for my new life. I can't lie, I am really nervous to meet Alpha Daniel. What if I aren't enough to take over the Luna duties and he takes back his agreement to hide me? Sean has been fantastic in trying to help ease my worries and said is cousin is pretty cool and laidback.

We have been travelling for around 2 hours now and we have all agreed its time to pull over for food. We all make small talk over our meal. Everyone is here apart from Sarah, she stayed behind to keep Joshua and Mia from getting suspicious about the high ranks going awol.

We are soon back on the road and nearing the Snow Pack's territory. Alpha Joe and the Beta family are in the first truck so that Beta Jodie can direct the driving warrior in the right direction.

We pull up to the gates of the territory and Alpha Joe gets out along with Beta Jodie to speak to a guard. After a few minutes of discussion Joe and Jodie get back in the car and we all start moving towards the pack house. The drive to the packhouse is about 5 minutes, the territory is huge. We pass a little village of quaint cottages, what looks like a small country pub and a row of fancy looking shops. Then my eyes drift over to the largest building and almost pop out of my head as I read the words 'Community Library' embalzoned above the door. Yup, I think I might just love this place already. Jade starts giggling at me. "Good luck to Alpha Daniel trying to keep you in your office and away from the library." She jokes. She isn't wrong though, I do love a good library. Finally, the pack house comes in to view and Oh My Goddess, its like a mini castle, there must be at least 5 floors.

Standing on the steps are three men. The man in the middle must be Alpha Daniel as I can see the similarities between him and Sean. The other two must be his Beta and Gamma. I'm startled from my thoughts as Alpha Joe opens my door and asks me if I'm ready to meet Alpha Daniel. I gulp, nod my head and take his hand as he helps me get out of the car. We walk towards the house. Alpha Joe holds out his hand to greet Alpha Daniel "Alpha Daniel, I am Alpha Joe and this is Jasmine Jones. It is a pleasure to meet you and thank you for agreeing to our proposal." Alpha Daniel shakes Joe's hands and smiles "Please call me Daniel, there is no need for formalities between friends and family" He turns to me "So you are the one that is going to be saving me from paperwork overload? It is a pleasure to meet you Jasmine." He smiles at me and my goddess what a gorgeous smile he has!

He then starts looking around and stops as Jodie runs to him for a hug. "Aunt Jodie, it has been a long time, how are you? Have Steve and Sean joined you" he hugs her back.

"Of course we came too ya knucklehead, gotta make sure you take care of my mate's bestie" Sean bellows out as he climbs down from the truck with his Dad.

"Hello to you too Sean" Alpha Daniel rolls his eyes and then turns to greet Steve "Hey Uncle Steve, sorry you had to make such a long journey with your little pipsqueak" He smirks at Sean.

"Now, now boys. Can we please go inside and get comfortable before you two start pulling each other's hair"

We all turned to look at the woman who has just descended from the house.

"Yes Granny" they both replied before she spotted Jodie and grabbed her in for a hug.

"Hey mum. I've missed you" Jodie smiled up at the woman.

"I missed you too darling, now lets get inside and get to know one another. I will arrange for the omegas to take your luggage up once we have an idea of how many rooms we need and who is staying where" Granny declares before leading us in to the house and in to the living room.

The two men that were stood with Alpha Daniel walk in and sit down. Alpha Daniel introduces them as his Beta Ferguson and his Gamma Michael.

"Lexi and Laura have gone to prepare some snacks and drinks for everyone" announces Beta Ferguson.

Granny claps her hands in glee "Excellent! Lets get to know each other while we wait" she smiles at us all.

We are all making conversation and having mild chit chat when 2 women walk in with trays of food.

"Babe" the one on the left says to Gamma Michael" can you please get the drinks from the kitchen for me?" she flutters her eyelashes at him.

I can't help but giggle as he does as she tells him immediatly like an obedient little puppy.

She turns to me and smiles "You must be Jasmine, I'm Lexi the Gamma Female and this is Laura, the Beta Female" "Its nice to meet you Lexi and Laura." I beam at them.

We have all been sat here chatting away for a couple hours now and I'm starting to feel sleepy and a stray yawn escapes my lips.

"Oh deary me, you must be extremely tired after all this travelling" Granny declares the obvious. I just nod my head in agreement while sipping my orange juice.

"Its to be expected, especially when you're carrying an Alpha pup. The exhaustion will all be worth it in 5 months when the pup is in your arms"

I choke on my orange juice spitting it everywhere. "Did you just say 5 months?" I glare at her, surely that can't be right.

"Yes dear, an Alpha pup only takes 5 months to fully develop"

"But that only leaves me with 4 months to go" I shout in despair "That's too quick" I'm practically a panicking mess right now.

"I think its time all headed to bed for the night. We can all sit down in the morning to discuss our agreement and Granny can help explain the pregnancy and answer any questions you have Jasmine" Alpha Daniel states. I just nod as I allow Jade to guide me to my new room. Thank the goddess Jade turned down a room of her own and said she would bunk in with me becuase I don't think I want to be on my own right now.
