Chapter 11

Joshua's POV

I'm stood there mentally cursing myself for my words as I watch Jasmine run out of the house with Naomi and Jade hot on her heels while Mia stomps back over to the party. I should never have lied to Mia about Jasmine, I knew it would come back to bite me on my ass eventually.

"Joshua sweetie" I turn to face my mum "Can you please tell me what on earth is happening?"

Sighing I look at her and tell her "I will but not here please, can we go talk in private?" I really do not want to he having this conversation in the hallway.

"Go grab Mia and meet me in your father's office." She turns to walk away but I grab her hand and explain that I don't want Mia to hear what I have to say. She raises her eyebrow at me accusingly before agreeing to my request. She goes to walk towards the ballroom to grab my dad when Sean comes barreling out of the party glaring at me threateningly. Usually, as Alpha I would see it as a challenge but I just put my head down.

"Aunt Sarah" he starts "I'm going to escort the girls back home and stay with them for the night" he explains to her.

"That is probably for the best, look after my girls sweetie and tell them I love all 3 of them"

"Will do, goodnight Aunt Sarah" he kisses her on the cheek and walks out of the house. Sean isn't my cousin but we all grew up together, Sean's parents are the current Betas and my parent's bestfriends.

I turn and walk towards my dad's office and my impending doom....

Jasmine's POV

I wake up sandwiched in between Naomi and Jade. Bless their hearts, they hugged me long in to the night while I sobbed my heart out. I sat up and rub the sleep out of my eyes and spot Sean sleeping on the chair in the corner of my room. He can not be comfortable laid there, the chair is only small and Sean, being of Beta blood, is built like a brick s**t house. I manage to climb out of the bed and make my way to the bathroom. Looking at myself in the mirror, I am greeted with what looks something straight out of a horror show. My hair looks like a birds nest, my eyes are all red and puffy with my mascara and lipstick smeared all over my face. I run the cold tap and splash my face with me it, before attempting to wipe the make up from my face but before I can get far with it, I'm head deep in the toilet bowl emptying the contents of my stomach. Ugh, not again.

"Jasmine are you ok?" Naomi shouts from the bedroom. I try to get up but I can't and before I know it, I'm back hugging the toilet like my life depends on it.

"s**t" I hear Naomi shout, why does she have to be so loud in the morning "Sean brew some ginger tea please."

"Why ginger tea?" I question Naomi but before she can answer, Jade comes sauntering in the bathroom and answers for her "It will help settle your stomache babe. This is the second morning in a row you have been sick and this deffo isn't nerves this time so I need to ask you something..." she trails off looking at me nervously.

"Whatever it is, just ask me!" I snap at her. She puts her hands up in surrender "Woah, chill girl. When you and Joshua did the nasties, did you use a condom?" And with that my face pales and I'm back to vomitting again. No, no we didn't use a condom, how could I have been so stupid. I burst in to tears once I finally stop puking.

"Come on Jasmine, lets get you in to the living room" The girls help me up and guide me to the couch just as Sean walks in with my ginger tea. I thank him as he hands it to me.

"So..." Sean starts speaking only to be interrupted by the doorbell.

Jade gets up to grab the door and hear the familiar voices of Luna Sarah and Alpha Joe greeting Jade. I start panicking, how can I face them after last night? How can I look them in the eyes knowing I'm carrying their son's pup. And then the tears come back again with a vengeance.

"Oh my sweet child" Luna Sarah embraces me in a crushing hug that makes me miss my mum, I really should visit my parents more often.

"I'm sorry about last night and causing drama at your party Luna Sarah" I mumble between sobs.

"Nonsense child, the only one who should be apologising is Joshua. He told us everything last night and less of the Luna. You're as good as family, just call me Sarah" She smiles at me tucking my hair behind my ear. Just then Alpha Joe coughs, alerting us to his presence "I would say she is not as good as family Sarah" then looks at me pointedly, scaring me about what is going to come out of his mouth next when he continues "I would say she is family considering considering she is carrying our grandpup." My jaw drops to the floor and he just smirks at me.

How could he possibly know, when I've only just thought about that possibility myself.

"How can you be so sure Alpha Joe?"

Again he just smirks at me "I am an Alpha dear, my hearring is exquisite and I can hear the pup's heartbeat."

"Excellent news!" Sarah jumps up excitedly "I'm going to be a grandma and your pup is going to be spoilt rotten Jasmine!"

"I don't want to pop your happy bubble Sarah but if Mia didn't want to kill me before, she will certainly want to kill me now!"
