The Omega's Revenge

Sophia's POV Unlike during the day, the night was quiet and calm. You can hear the sound of the owls as the hoot in the dark and the crickets chirping, the gentle breeze blowing through the forest as it carries the scent of the woods into every room, tickling your skin as a lover would . Alpha Lucas had snuck into my room for the fourth time this week, He claims not to care for the consequence as long as he got to be with me. I don't know how he manages to sneak back into his room in the morning without being caught. He shuts the door softly behind him as he begins to walk towards me, he sits down on the bed. I feel him behind to trace his fingers along my curve of my body. Letting his finger linger on small of my back, down to my legs and back up again. Careful not towake me up, he makes room for himself beside me. I can't believe this has been going on for over a year now. I feel his eyes on my face as I pretend to sleep, I can tell the look on his face even with my eyes closed. Love, its so intense it scares me. He placed a soft peck on my temple as he whispers sweet nothing. He slowly gathers me into his arm, placing one last kiss on my head before I find myself drifting off to a deep sleep. I wake up to the light of the sun streaming into the room and on my eyes, while trying to remember where I am, I am jolted back to life by the familiar tantalizing husky voice I am so used to. “Good morning my darling” I turn to look at him sporting an amused looking, which I sure due to how disoriented I look “Good morning my love” “How was your night?” He leans in for a kiss “Hey! You know I don't like morning kisses” I scowl at him “But I do” “I'm yet to brush” I whine “I don't mind a bit of skunk” “I don't smell” I playfully swat his chest now faking a frown “Then you won't mind a kiss” “Exac-” He cuts me off mid sentence with a kiss before I could retort back at him “Its getting late” I managed to say between kiss “And?” “Your mother would have my head if I'm not out” I rush out “Why are you talking about my mother now?” He begins to kiss down my neck “I don't want to but I need to get out” I manage to pant out He really wasn't paying attention to me as he focused on the sweet spot on my neck "It's already 8 o’clock in the morning and you are holding me up like the lady of the house,you know your mother won't be happy, you need to leave also" “Why do you have to be such a smart ass?” he stops his torture, now resting his head on my chest. “I know you love me like that” I tease him “More than I know it, I love you so much” he says as he looks me deep in the eyes My breath hitches in my throat unable to form any word as I look back into his eyes, dark with emotions swirling in them. “I can't wait till we don't have to hide anymore” "We have no choice since we know how your mother would react and also the pack would refuse, I know you really want me, but you need to consider what pack would say, I am still here waiting, I know things would work out for us” He breathe in and out deeply speechless. "You are the best thing to ever happen to me, we have been together for a year and I want you to know I am working hard to sort this out, just a bit more till I let everyone knows my Luna" "I hope so too, anyways, you have to let me go,the house chores won't sort themselves out" "Alright, I would be here waiting for you" *** *** Nothing about me impress me but whenever I remembered that I am being loved by the Alpha, I cheered up, regardless we would get married and nobody would be able to look down on me. I just need to do is to have patience and trust him. I was so lost in thought as I did the dishes, I didn't hear anybody walk into the kitchen until hey cleared their throat drawing my attention. My heart skipped a beat when I turned my head up and saw the Alpha's mother. "Good Morning ma" I greeted her with my eyes to floor as it was disrespectful to look at the Alphas or Lunas in the eye. She looked at me with so much disgusting I feared her face getting stuck “And you are?” I could hear the venom in her voice as she spoke “I'm Sophia, ma'am” my voice a bit shaky “Sophia?” “Yes ma'am” “Do not think you have successfully fooled everyone here and assume I didn't know about everything that has been going on, I am aware of it, but decided to be mute about it, solely because I thought it was a phase, however it seems to have been a mistake on my part” "Ma'am I would never try to decieve anyone” “Really?” “Yes ma'am” "Are you trying to play dumb with me? Do you think anything would be happening in this pack and I won't know about it? Since you want to play dumb, let me put it in aimple terms for you. How long do you intend on warming my son's bed?” I could hear my heart thumping wildly in my chest that it was obvious, how would she know? Who told her? Well, I am sure she just knows about this, I can still deny it, if she had known sooner, she would have talked about it. "You really are dumb huh?" "I'm sorry ma'am, but Alpha Lucas doesn't fancy me like that, He's just a good leader who I look up to, there's nothing of such between the both of us" I manage to recover quickly, else my silence would have given me away. "So you would go down the denying route, I wouldn't be here telling you if I haven't confirmed it, you know me very well and you shouldn't be here denying what I was sure of" "I…well" my mouth was trembling and I kept stammering without saying anything meaningful. "I just want to warn you like my daughter, Alpha Lucas would never make you the Luna, be very sure of it, the fact you're mates doesn't change anything” I didn't even know what was going on, I kept on sweating profusely and even with the cool breeze “Am I clear?" She narrows her eyes at me "Y-Y-Yes Ma'am" I opened the door some minutes after, to be sure she wasn't around and when I was sure she wasn't around, I went straight to the Alpha's office. I was sure nobody was there, so I entered without knocking. "What is it?" He got scared with the way I ran in. "Something is actually going on, it happened and everyone knows about the secret we’re keeping" "You mean people know we're together how? Who" "Your mother" I whispered. "How did she get to know, we both were making it a secret, how does she get to know" "Do you think I could answer your question? How would I know how she knows, you should be the one to answer that, moreover she said you were just playing me and it didn't matter that we were mates" "How is that possible? And you believe her, I am the one that needs a mate, and the moon goddess gave me you, not my mother choosing for me" "I am scared, you know your mother can be so intimidating" "Don't focus on her, focus on me, she can do nothing" Alpha Lucas said and without even hearing a sound of someone coming towards the room or even a knock, we saw the Alpha's mother. I totally forgot to lock the room after coming in.
