It seems like the world abhor me, I wasn't even sure if she heard our conversation. What should I do? Tears flooded my eyes right in the presence of the Alpha and his mother.
Alpha's mother stepped in majestically, I wondered if she would ever age.
She touched my cheek with her right hand and smiled.
"Are you still here to confirm what I said? You expected the truth from him? But you do not have a choice you need to stop being in a relationship with him, you are just an omega"
My eyes were red as I was expecting a reply from Alpha Lucas, he was mute and didn't look worried.
"The fact that you are an omega didn't even qualify you, or you are being moved by all this fictional stories where the omegas got married to the Alpha, this is not a choice but something you must do"
"I am sorry"
"You don't need to be sorry, you just need to stop getting close to him, and if you think you would do whatever you want, go on"
"I won't...I won't"
"Well son, I have helped you to reveal the truth for her, I know you might be scared,next time you don't need to deceive a lady, well she can still be used as a s*x slave, no one would ever stop you but it is better you let her be"
My heart skipped for seconds after hearing this, as he's been fooling me since, I just need to be sure, I need to confirm what I just heard.
"Anyways, I don't need your reply, do whatever you need to do here because it might be the last time you are coming here, but you can always come to serve him, and serve him and his Luna in the future"
I shook my head in dismay and tears kept rolling from my eyes.
"Good luck" She uttered and left the room.
Immediately, l looked straight into Alpha Lucas' eyes, went closer to him.
"Tell me what your mother said is not true, so you have been fooling me?"
"Would you listen to me or my mum? I love you Sophia and you are the one I would marry, they can only say but they are not the one to choose for me, I love you and you know that”
"No, don't lie to me, do not tell me you love me, why don't you put it into action, I do not want to hear those words again" I cried.
"You know how my mother can be, I don't want to talk to her in your presence, I would go and see her and tell her that I have peace with you, you made me whole"
"I refuse to believe this, when she was here, you weren't worried about those words she said to me, you already know you wouldn't be ending up with me, you only deceive me"
He sat down after I let go of him.
He cleared his throat before he replied; "I am sorry, I would do anything for you, the fact that you let my mother words sink into you" He shook his head and continued; "My love for you is not one of deceit, right now, I can announce to everyone that you are my mate and how much I love you"
"Is it that you want to bewitch me again, why do I keep falling for your lies?"
"You just need to believe me now, don't get worried, all you have to do is to trust me now, this is the time we need to stand for each other, it might be hard now, but we would laugh last"
"Not that I don't love you Lucas, not that I don't trust you, not that I don't want to be by your side, I am an omega, you are the Alpha of this pack, this was the reason I didn't want to accept the bond,but you promised me it would last long, you…."
"I promised you that right? And I am still promising you that you would be mine forever" He interrupted.
"But your mother is against me, we can't even let the relationship be public because we are both scared about what people would say, we are not bold enough, love is not enough Lucas, think about it"
"I have thought about it and I still insist, I love you, I want you again and again"
"Then what do we do to your mother that is against our relationship? Do you think pleading would be enough?"
"I know what to do, I would call the elders to do that"
"And do you think your mum would listen to them?"
"I am sure, I know her very well, she is my mother"
"Okay"
He stood up and hugged me tightly.
I left his room to go to my room, I went to my bed and lay down there.
It is such a tiring day, no doubt, I didn't even do the house chores which I know i would be scolded for or even punished.
Well, I am in for that. What I just want now is to keep loving Alpha Lucas. I just want to stay strong in this hard time. Good things don't come easily, I remembered. I would do anything to have him. Before I got into a relationship with him, I thought about this. I disagreed at first, but it is what it is.
"Everyone, the Alpha's mother wants us out there" I hear the beta mind link us
"Does she want to disgrace me? I am doomed" I thought to myself.
We all went out and we saw everyone living in the chamber, all maids, guards and everyone staying in the chamber with the Alpha's mother and a lady staying in the middle of the crowd.
"Hello everyone, this is Anna, she is the daughter of the Lycan King in our nearby pack, her name is Odettaa, she is the new Luna of our Alpha, Alpha Lucas
