Desire for Riches

Once lived an honest man who goes by the name Gilbert. He is a husband to two, a father of four and a son to two. what actually happened was that, Gilbert was given birth to on the same day his stepmother gave birth. for this reason, they wanted the children to love each other and act like twins so both mothers moved into one room whiles there is about six bedrooms in the house. nine months later, Hilbert who was Gilbert's act -like twin brother died as a result of falling from his little bed and the tiled floor was very cold which one way or the other led to his dead None of the women was able to accept the fact that one of their children had died it was really a bitter truth. their husband console them and told his two wives that, they should accept that both of them have lost a child and both of them have one child left . the wives were so peaceful that the re-united , so in a case where one mother is not around, the second mother breastfeeds the baby . this continued till Gilbert grew up. Now , Gilbert has four children which are Naphtha, Nathan, Elaine and Eathlyn . Naphtha was very responsible whiles Nathan had no respect for anyone. Gilbert's two daughters were very peaceful. Nathan was so disrespectful to extend that, he poured hot water on an old woman who was begging him for money and followed him hot . the old lady cursed him, the old lady got half of her face burnt , many people wondered how a very honest and kind man like Gilbert could have such a wicked son. he talks to anyone anyhow he likes, his parent tried warning him but all to no avail. eight beautiful years passed in a blink of an eye and Gilbert children got married except the last born . Nathan was married for about 12 years and had no child whiles his brother Naphtha had three boys and a girl, his sister Elaine on the other hand has two big boys as her children.Nathan did not understand this until a prophecy was made that he should go and ask for forgiveness from the old lady. He did not know how and where to locate the old woman, he was so confused buh never gave up, he was told the old lady was dead so he should go to the particular place he poured the hot water on the lady and Kneel down and ask for forgiveness . He obeyed which means he has to travel all the way back to his old house and do that, he did as he was told, he was there kneeling for about half an hour and came back home. two months later, his wife was pregnant he was so happy but that was not the end, when is wife gave birth, the mark and old scars of the hot water he poured on the old lady was on the face of his baby, it occupied half of her face. this was a big lesson and never spoke to anyone anyhow and always used his story to teach the young youths
