It has been a month ever since Blaze, Mark, and Paul got cast in the upcoming series here in our country and after knowing about that good news Blaze’s department threw a party for them for a day. I was so proud of them while watching the three of them being the star of the day. A week after that party, the production crew sent another e-mail telling them that they will have a meeting together with the other casts of the series. Blaze told me that all of the characters in that series are just a newbie so he is quite nervous about the outcome of their series because there is not even a single famous actor or actress within that series. I just told him that the director and the original author of the book that their television series adapted are so famous and they do truly well so I told him that their television series will also do well.

“Lei, I got to go.” I only came back to my senses when I heard Blaze’s voice from my back. I immediately turned around my seat to see him preparing himself to go to his first work ever.

“Take care okay?” I said as I stand up from my seat and hugged him from his back truly tight. I felt that Blaze stopped what he’s doing for a while to turn around and hugged me so tight.

“I will, don’t worry I will always call you if I am on a break okay?” He said and then kissed me on my forehead gently.

“Hmm, but don’t forget to take a rest okay? And also, don’t forget to eat well.” I said and I can feel that I am on the edge of crying so I immediately buried my face on his chest because I didn’t want him to see me being emotional.

“Of course Lei, don’t worry about me I can take care of myself, what I am worried about is you. You are all alone here and when you will go to the university you are also by yourself.” He said so I just shake my head at him while my face is still buried on his face.

“I promised I will take care of myself truly well so you didn’t have to worry so much about me. I will also ask Ellis to come here sometimes so I won’t feel so lonely while you are gone.” I said and then looked at him and I was so surprised when I saw Blaze’s face. Blaze is already teary-eyed while looking at me.

“I love you so much, Lei.” He said while looking into my eyes.

“I love you more Blaze, I love you more,” I said. Blaze started to slowly bring his face closer to mine and while he’s doing that my eyes started to close by their own waiting for his lips to touch mine. The moment his lips touches my lips, it was like a strong current of electricity started to flow all throughout my body. Our kiss lasted for a minute until I break our kiss apart due to the lacking of breath.

“I love you, Lei.” Blaze said again while looking so happy.

“I love you too Blaze,” I said while smiling at him. I can see that his face is also blushing and I can feel that my face is also blushing because of what just happened between us.

“By the way, I need to go. Mark texted me that they were already outside our house.” Blaze said while looking at his phone.

“Do you have everything inside your bag now?” I asked him while we are walking towards the front door.

“Yeah, I double-checked it yesterday.” He said and then we stopped walking as we reached our front door.

“Take care okay?” I said and then he just nods at me before pulling me towards him and hugged me so tight.

“I will.” He said and then after that, he kissed me again on my forehead before turning the doorknob and head outside our house.

“See you in a month, Lei!” Mark said as Blaze head outside our house.

“Yeah! See you in a month!” I said while waving my hand at them. They started to head inside the service van of their work and it looks like they are bickering while heading inside which made Blaze hit them on the head.

“HAHAHAHA, they are truly so silly,” I said to myself while watching them quarrel like little boys. As they head inside, their service van immediately drive-off. I just head inside our house when the service van is not in my sight anymore. As I head inside I kind of feel so empty while looking around our house.

“Just please come back to me,” I said to myself out of nowhere while looking at the shirt that Blaze uses last night.

“Ah, what are you saying Lei? Of course, he will come back to you! Blaze will come back to you!” I said and then shake my head to remove the negative thought inside my head. I just started to clean our whole house to exhaust myself and doze off to sleep. I only woke up when I saw that the surrounding is already dark. I scratch my eyes first before standing up from my bed and head downstairs. As I head outside my room, I immediately head towards Blaze’s room to tell him it’s already night and we need to cook our dinner when I suddenly remember that Blaze is not here anymore. My mood immediately dropped down the moment I remember that I am all alone here inside our house.

“Ah, I never thought it would be this hard, it’s just the first day that Blaze is not around!” I said and then sit down on the floor. My tears are started to fall from my eyes so I immediately wiped them away because I can’t be like this!

“Lei, this is just for a month okay? I know you can do this! Blaze will worry a lot about you if ever he will know about this.” I said to myself trying to cheer myself up. I let out a heavy sigh first before standing up from the floor and head inside my room first to get my phone before heading towards the kitchen. As I get my phone from my bed, I opened it first and saw that I have a lot of missed calls coming from my mom and also from Aunt Ann. While I am heading downstairs I decided to call my mom first to tell her that I fell asleep after cleaning the whole house.

“Hey, mom!” I said as she answered my call.

“Hey, why did you just call me now?” She asked me which I already expected.

“Ah, I’m sorry mom I fell asleep earlier and I just woke up. Why did you call me by the way?” I asked her as I sit on one of the chairs here in the kitchen.

“I am just checking you out since today Blaze left for his work. How are you doing?” She asked me which made me smiled.

“I am fine mom, don’t worry about me so much. By the way, I will ask Ellis tomorrow if she can sleep here while Blaze is gone for his work so I have an accompany here.” I said

“Okay, but don’t forget to treat her well okay? Just tell me if ever you need money to buy stocks for your pantry.” She said.

“Yes mom, I will. By the way, I will also call Aunt Ann because she also calls me a lot of times earlier and I guess she will also check how am I doing.” I said while smiling.

“Oh, okay I also need to cook dinner for us. We miss you so much!” She said which made me smiled.

“Yeah, I miss you too,” I said and then ended the call. After that call with my mom, I decided to cook my dinner first before I call Aunt Ann. I decided to cook fried chicken today and soup because I kind of feel lazy to cook something extravagant since I am just all alone here. After cooking my dinner, I just realized that I forgot to cook my rice since I fell asleep earlier and I just woke up.

“Geez! What will I eat now?” I asked myself while looking at the empty cauldron of rice. Ah! I will just eat instant noodles! I immediately head towards our pantry to get cup noodles, after getting the cup noodles from the pantry I head back to the kitchen to put hot water on my noodles. While waiting for my noodles to cook, I decided to call Aunt Ann so the moment my noodles are already cooked I am already done speaking with her.

“Hey, Aunt Ann.” I greeted her as she answered the call.

“Oh, Lei! Thank goodness you called me. How are you?” She asked me which made me smiled because of how worried her voice is.

“I am fine Aunt, I am so sorry if I wasn’t able to answer your call earlier. I didn’t know that I fell asleep and I just woke up.” I said while smiling.

“It’s fine Lei, by the way, how are you doing now?” She asked me again.

“I am doing fine Aunt, I am already preparing my dinner now, how about you? Did you already eat your dinner?” I asked her while checking the noodles if it’s already cooked.

“That is good to hear then, Blaze told me to call you every time I am free to check you how you doing. My son is so worried about you.” She said which made me smiled.

“You don’t need to do that Aunt, I know how busy you are for the whole day so just take the night as your rest,” I said

“But I also want to do it, Lei, you are also my daughter so of course, I will worry about you.” She said which made me smiled again because of how sweet she is.

“Thank you, Aunt, by the way, I will end this call now so you can also take a rest and eat your dinner,” I said

“Okay, okay, I will call you again once I am free again.” She said so I just nod even though she can’t see me.

“Yes Aunt, see you soonest,” I said and then ended the call. After that call, I put my phone inside my pocket first before getting my food on the counter. While I am walking towards the table, I almost slipped because I didn’t notice that there’s a water stain on the floor but thank goodness I was able not to.

“Geez! That almost got me.” I said to myself while looking at the water stain on the floor. I put my food on the table first before getting the mop and wiped it. After wiping the water stain, I just put away the mop first before starting to eat dinner. While I am eating dinner, I am just watching the series that Blaze told me to watch so I can help him with his reaction paper. Since he got cast on his first-ever series his professor gave him an extension for his reaction paper as well as Mark and Paul.

“Wow! Why didn’t I watch this before? This is so nice!” I said to myself while watching. Hmm, the leading man of this series is handsome, and honestly, he is the perfect definition of my type in man. After eating my dinner, I decided to turn off the television first and head upstairs to my room and continue watching the series I am watching earlier. After a few more episodes, I decided to sleep because I have class tomorrow and I didn’t want to go to school lacking sleep.

The next day…

I woke up today at exactly 6:00 this morning even though my class for this day will start at 9:00 in the morning. I decided to sleep again but my senses are already wide awake so I just head downstairs and cook my breakfast. While I am busy cooking my food, I heard my phone ring so I immediately get it from the counter and answered it without looking who’s the caller is.

“Hello?” I said as I answered the call.

“Lei? I am so sorry did I wake you up?” My eyes automatically turn so wide when I heard my favorite person’s voice.

“No, no, no, I am already awake in fact I am cooking my breakfast now,” I said while smiling ear-to-ear.

“That is good to hear then, by the way, how are you doing?” Blaze asked me.

“I am doing good so far, by the way, I am already watching the series you told me about and I am almost done watching it,” I said while smiling.

“HAHAHAHA did you binge watch it?” He asked me

“Ahm, quite. By the way, how’s your work?” I asked him and then turned off the stove and put the egg on the plate.

“It’s fine so far, we already finished taking lots of scenes here in this place and the director is so happy with how we are able to act the character the way he wanted it.” He said

“Wow, then I guess you are truly a good actor! How’s your leading lady by the way? Are you guys already closed?“ I asked him while walking towards the table.

“Ah, we are already closed because she is so nice and she kind of resembles you.” He said

“Hmm, she resembles me? Don’t tell me you already fallen for her?” I asked him jokingly.

“i***t! It won’t ever happen. She resembles you because you guys have the same behavior.” He said which made me giggled because it was truly nice teasing him like this.

“HAHAHAHA, fine, fine, besides I know you won’t ever cheat on me right?” I said while smiling.

“Of course, I won’t ever do that besides I already have you, and having you is far from being enough.” He said which made me smiled because of how cheesy he is.

“I love you,” I said

“I love you too.” He said

“Oh, by the way, I need to go now. The director is already calling me. See you in a month, my love!” He said and then ended the call. After that call, I just found myself smiling ear-to-ear so I immediately wipe it away and started to eat my food. After eating my breakfast, I washed the dishes first before heading back to my room. While I am heading upstairs, I just remember that I forgot to tell Blaze about my plan on making Ellis stay here while he’s gone. Ah, I will just tell him later. I just started to prepare myself for school, and after an hour I am already done. I get my bag from my bed and then head outside my room and head downstairs. I checked all the sockets first before I head outside the house and when I am sure that everything is fine, I head outside our house and head towards our car, and drive off to the university.
