It has been a week ever since I came with Blaze in his work and ever since that day Blaze keeps on telling me that Mr. Yoon is pestering him to convince me to enter the showbiz industry, but Blaze is quite aware that I didn’t like acting and I didn’t have talent on acting.

“But please give it a try.” That is what Blaze will always tell me and I will say…

“No, I don’t want to, I will just embarrass not only myself but also you.” Which is real because he is the one that takes me there so obviously my failure in acting will backfire on him and I didn’t want that.

“Can you just tell him that I am a writer and I can send him some of my stories?” This is another thing I will tell Blaze but he will answer me like this…

“I already told him that but he told me that he didn’t like your story he wants you as his actress.” After he told me that, I will just remain quiet until he will give up on pestering me. I know it is also hard for Blaze but it is so clear that I didn’t have any single interest in acting as well as I don’t have the talent to enter their industry. I kind of feel sorry for Blaze because I know Mr. Yoon is pestering him as well as Ms. A.

“Lei, I will go somewhere with Ms. A and she told me that it is work-related but she didn’t tell me where,” Blaze said which made me came back to my senses.

“Oh, okay. Take care and also say hi to Ms. A for me.” I said while my eyes were fixated on the television.

“Ah! I forgot to tell you about the invitation that Ms. A sent me last night. The broadcasting company that currently airing my series invited us to join their celebration since my series kind of brought popularity to their company.” Blaze said as he sits beside me.

“Do I also need to come?” I asked him.

“Yeah, since they already knew that I already have a girlfriend, they all been wanting to meet you.” He said which made me looked at him while frowning.

“Wait, the broadcasting company also knew that you have a girlfriend?” I asked him which made him looked at me.

“Yeah, ever since our first day of work. They interviewed us and one of the questions in their interview is about our relationship so of course, I told them that I already have a lover.” He said which made me blushed because of how nonchalantly he told those to me.

“Don’t worry, Mark and Paul’s girlfriends will also come so you won’t be alone there.” He added.

“Hmm, okay. I guess declining their invitation is not a good move to do. When is that party?” I asked him.

“Hmm, tomorrow night.” He said which made me looked at him with a surprised look.

“Wait? Tomorrow night? And you just told me about this today?” I asked him while my eyes were still wide.

“Yeah, don’t worry about the preparation. Ms. A will handle that.” He said which kind of gives me relief. Preparing for such a grand party is not easy because I remember when my dad decided to hold a party for his newest branch, my mom and I truly had a hard time preparing ourselves.

“Oh, okay. By the way, did you already see the trending topic on Twitter right now?” I asked him.

“Not yet, what is it?” He asked me so I immediately grabbed my phone beside me and opened my Twitter and search for the trending topic on Twitter right now and handed him my phone the moment I saw it.

“Your fans are truly loving you as well as your role in the series and not only that they also love you and your partner there. Geez! I can’t imagine their reactions the moment they knew that you guys are not truly in a relationship they thought you would be in.” I said without looking at him. Honestly, the moment I saw those tweets sending lots of love to Blaze and his partner Megan, I kind of feel anxious because what if they knew Blaze has a girlfriend already? Geez! I just didn’t want to think about what my life would be like.

“Hmm, so they are just sending lots of love to me and Megan. That’s kind of nice.” He said while smiling.

“Scroll more,” I said because he is just on the first half of the tweets.

“Geez! They are already shipping us in real life?!” He said with a surprised tone in his voice.

“Yeah, and there are a lot more tweets saying that if ever one of you has a lover already they will surely remove its existence in this world,” I said trying to hide the fear I am feeling.

“Hey, don’t worry about those people okay? If ever they will know about us and send lots of hate to me and to you I don’t care, I will hold firmly to our relationship.” He said while handing over his phone to me.

“But how about you? How about your career?” I asked him while looking at him and without hiding the anxiety on my face.

“I don’t care about my career Lei, if I need to give up my career then I will. I won’t ever let you and this relationship go because you are what matters the most to me.” He said which made me smiled but I didn’t want to ruin his career just for me. He already made his name in the industry and I didn’t want that to disappear in an instant.

“But, I didn’t want to ruin your career Blaze. You already made your name in the industry and your career is doing well and continue on doing well and I didn’t want to ruin that.” I said which made him frowned.

“So, what are you trying to say here? That once the public knew about our relationship we will immediately end it up?” He asked me but I immediately shake my head because I didn’t want that to happen.

“No Blaze, no I didn’t want that to happen. I love you so much and breaking up with you is just a thing that I cannot happen and I didn’t want to happen.” I said which made him smiled.

“Then, stop worrying about that okay? No matter what happens we will hold firmly to each other and to our relationship.” He said and then kissed me on my forehead gently and then to my cheeks and lastly to my lips.

“Ms. A already messaged me saying that they are already here. I need to go okay?” He said as he stands up from the couch.

“Yeah, take care okay?” I said and then he just nods at me before he walks towards the door and heads outside our house. As he head outside our house, silence immediately dominated around the house so I decided to turn on the television again because I kind of feel like I am drowning because of the silence around the house. Since I know that Blaze won’t eat his lunch here, I decided to ask Ellis to eat outside and thank goodness she accepted my invitation.

“Yes, I am already on my way there,” I said through the phone while I am walking towards my car.

“Okay, take care,” Ellis said on the other line.

“Yeah, see you in a minute,” I said and then ended the call. After that call, I just put back my phone inside my bag and started to walk faster towards my car. It took almost 20 minutes to arrived at the restaurant Ellis told me where we will meet because of the traffic while on my way here.

“I am already here where are you?” I asked her through the phone while walking towards the restaurant.

“I already saw you, just enter the restaurant and then look on your right and you will see me here waving my hand at you.” She said

“Okay,” I said and then ended the call. As I head inside the restaurant, I did what she told me I immediately looked on my right side, and as she told me I immediately saw her waving her right hand at me so I immediately walk towards her and sit in front of her chair.

“Did you already order for us?” I asked her as I sit in front of her chair.

“Yeah, I know you love steak so I already ordered it for you. So what’s the deal?” She asked me which made me smiled because she truly knows me well because she already knew that I am quite problematic right now.

“Well, it is about my boyfriend,” I said trying to avoid saying Blaze’s name because I just can’t blabber about him around the public.

“Hmm, so what’s about him?” She asked me so I took a deep breath first before answering her.

“Well, I know you already saw the trending topic on Twitter right now and it kind of makes me feel anxious because there are some threats to me and to my safety,” I said, and then she just nods at me before she answers.

“Yeah, I already saw it and what did he say about it?” She asked me.

“He just told me that he is ready to put his career at stake just for our relationship and you know how he dreamt about being an actor and I just can’t let him threw away his career and his dream just for me. Now I am quite problematic about the step I need to take once it happens.” I said and then massage the temple of my head because seriously this is giving me a headache.

“Knowing him, he truly loves you, Lei. He is willing to throw away his career for your relationship and that is quite rare. But you know Lei, you need to talk this over with him because no matter what advice I will tell you, at the end of the day it is all up to you and to him.” She said which made sense.

“If your lover is in the showbiz industry, there is only one choice you must choose, it is whether to give up your relationship with your lover or make your lover give up its career.” She added.

“But I didn’t want him to lose both,” I said

“As I told you, Lei, you need to talk this over thoroughly with him, not with me.” She said which made me let out a heavy sigh out of the frustration that I am feeling.

“Wait, why don’t you just accept the offer that you are talking about? In that way, you can be with his side by side in front of the light of the cameras.” She said which made me looked at her in disbelief.

“You know how sucks my acting skill is. I will just embarrass myself in front of everyone.” I said while shaking my head.

“But there is an acting workshop right?” She said but I just shake my head again at her.

“I won’t ever do that,” I said and just get my phone from my bag and checked my Twitter again. I almost lose grip on my phone the moment I saw the picture on my feed.

“Hey, look at this,” Ellis said while showing me her phone and it is the same picture I saw on my feed.

“This can’t be happening,” I said and then looked around the restaurant and saw that most of the people here are looking at me with unexplainable looks on their faces which made me so uncomfortable. My body just moved on its own and run away from that restaurant as fast as I can. The only thing that I need to do right now is reached my car unscratched and reach our house safely. While I am running towards my car I can hear that Ellis is shouting my name but I just ignore her and continue on running away until I reached my car. As I head inside my car, I immediately turned on the engine and locked all the doors, and drive-off to our house. While on my way, I can feel that my hands are trembling and my heart is beating so fast.

“Calm down Lei, calm down,” I said to myself continuously. While on my way, I heard that my phone started to ring but I just ignore it again and again until I reached our house and run my way again towards our house. I immediately locked the gate of our house as well as the door so I can keep myself safe. As I head inside our house, I am panting and gasping for air and I feel so exhausted so I immediately head towards the fridge and get some water. After drinking, I heard that my phone rings again so I immediately answered it without looking at the screen.

“Hello?” I said as I answered the call.

“Lei, where are you? I will come to you.” Ellis said.

“No, don’t, you don’t have to Ellis,” I said

“But I am so worried about you right now.” She said

“Just don’t, I am fine, I am going to be fine,” I said and then ended the call. Since I know that she will call me over and over again I decided to turn off my phone and head towards my room. While on my way to my room, I suddenly remember the picture I saw earlier and it suddenly sends a shiver down my spine.

“Who captured that photo?” I asked to myself. If you are wondering what the photo is about, it is a picture of Blaze and the night we decided to head to the mall to buy our clothes for Blaze’s shooting and it that picture, you can clearly see my face as well as Blaze’s face even though that night he is disguise. The caption of the photo sends more shiver down my spine. The caption says “whoever this lady is beside our Blaze, she should have die for stealing our Blaze from our Megan.” Even though I didn’t do anything, I received threats to my safety as well as hate that I don’t deserve. So this is what it likes to be an idol’s lover? This sucks! But I cannot give him up as well as our relationship because I love him so much, and just by thinking that I will lose him there’s this pain in my heart and it sucks. Why this needs to happen to us? I just love Blaze why can’t they just let me do that? Why? I didn’t know that while I am sitting down beside my bed, tears are already falling from my eyes, so I covered my face using my hands and cry all the pain I am feeling right now.
