LORELEI’S POINT OF VIEW

As Blaze promised me last night, I will come with him to his work today and I am so excited! I woke up today at exactly 5:00 in the morning even though we need to leave at 7:00, but I am just so excited to witness my Blaze doing his work. Since I woke up so early today and I know I cannot head back to sleep, I decided to head downstairs to cook our breakfast and that’s what I am doing now. I decided to cook Blaze’s favorite bacon, ham, and omelet.

“Ah! I almost forgot to cook garlic rice!” I said to myself when I suddenly remember the excess rice we had last night. I immediately head towards our rice cooker to get the excess rice from last night and smash it slightly using my hand. When the rice is completely smashed, I minced 4 pieces of garlic and after that, I started to sauté it and then put the rice when the garlic is already golden brown.

“Hmm, what is that amazing smell?” I automatically smile while I am cooking when I heard Blaze’s voice while he’s walking on the stairs.

“Good morning.” I greeted him with a smile on my face the moment I saw him.

“Good morning too, my love. What are you cooking?” He asked me while he’s getting fresh milk from our fridge.

“Ah, I am cooking garlic rice because we have a lot of excess from last night so I decided to cook it like this,” I said while smiling at him.

“That smells so good, hmm I am truly lucky to have you, Lei. It was like I already have a good wife.” He said which made me smiled.

“Silly! By the way, do you want to eat now or you will take a bath first?” I asked him as I turned off the stove and turned around to look at him.

“Let’s eat first, I am so excited to taste your garlic rice.” He said and then he started to get plates, forks, and spoons and put it on the table. While looking at him taking over on setting up our table, I suddenly feel like I am his wife preparing for his breakfast before he will go to his work.

“Why are you smiling?” Blaze asked me which made me came back to my senses and I immediately get a plate to put the garlic rice I cooked and another plate for the bacon, ham, and egg.

“Hey, Lei is there something wrong?” He asked me while I am walking towards the table.

“Nothing, nothing, I just spaced out earlier,” I said and then put the plates on the table and then head towards our fridge to get the fresh milk.

“Hmm, but it looks like you are thinking about something so nice because of the way you smile.” He said as he sits on the chair in front of me. I thought he already give this up but I guess he won’t stop asking me about what I thought earlier. I took a deep breath first before I decided to tell him what I thought earlier.

“Well, while I am looking at you setting up the table earlier, I kind of suddenly felt like I am your wife and you are my husband preparing our breakfast before you head to your work while I will stay here taking care of our child,” I said and then blushed. I can feel that my face is burning and I know that my face is as red as tomatoes right now.

“You know what, that is what I also thought earlier the moment I saw you cooking our breakfast. It was like I am looking at my wife preparing our food.” He said which made me lift my head up and looked at him. I saw that his face is also blushing.

“There is no need to get shy about that Lei, dreaming to be my end game is nothing to be shy about because I also want you to be my end game, Lei.” He said while looking straight into my eyes. During that moment, Blaze slowly stands up from his seat and walk towards my seat, and kneeled in front of me.

“I love you so much Lei, I truly do. What I said earlier is true, I want you to be my end game, I want you to be my wife and I want you to be the mother of my children.” He said while kneeling in front of me and holding both of my hands. I don’t know why but I kind of feel so emotional right now. I immediately wrapped my arms around him and felt that he hugged me back.

“I love you too Blaze, I love you too. Please, promise me that no matter what happens you will stay with me, and like what you said earlier we will be each others’ end game.” I said and then wiped my tears while I am hugging him.

“Yeah, I promised, I promised that I will stay with you no matter what happens.” He said and then unclasped the hug and hold my shoulders while looking straight into my eyes.

“Stop crying now okay? We will fulfill that promise together, I promised.” He added while wiping my tears using his bare hands.

“Hmm, yeah we will fulfill that promise,” I said and then hugged him again before he heads back to his seat. After that moment, I kind of feel like Blaze and I became closer than usual and that is such a good thing for us and for our relationship.

“By the way, you must take a bath now. Let me take care of this.” I said to Blaze after we finished eating.

“Nah, let me handle this since you already cooked for us.” He said and then he started to clean the table by stacking the plates we used and putting them on the sink.

“Blaze, go on let me handle this,” I said while following him going back and forth from the table up to the sink until he completely cleaned the table and he started to wash the dishes.

“Blaze,” I called him, and then he just looked at me while washing the dishes.

“What is it?” He asked me as he looked back on his work.

“Let me do that,” I said but he just shakes his head before answering me.

“Nah, you already cooked the food for us so let me do this. That’s what a good partner should do, helping his partner to his work.” He said which made me smiled.

“Fine, fine,” I said and then hugged him from his back.

“I love you Blaze,” I said while hugging him from his back.

“I love you more Lei.” He said and then after that I just let Blaze finished washing the dishes while I am still hugging him from his back.

“So, I am already done. Don’t tell me you will still hug me up to my room.” He said jokingly as he turned around and hugged me back.

“Can I do that?” I asked him which made him react violently.

“You know you can’t do that! Silly!” He said which made me giggled.

“HAHAHA, I am just kidding. So, let’s just meet here?” I asked him while holding his hand.

“Yeah, wear the dress I picked for you okay?” He said so I just nod at him with a smile on my face and then we started to head towards our own rooms while our hands are intertwined with each other. As we arrived at our room, Blaze kissed me on my forehead again and opened the door of my room for me before he heads towards his room. As I head inside, I immediately head towards my bathroom and started to prepare myself. It took me a whole hour to finished preparing myself and after that, I immediately head outside my room and head downstairs.

“You look so pretty Lei,” Blaze told me as he saw me walking down the stairs.

“Thank you, you look so handsome by the way,” I said while walking towards him and immediately wrapped my arms around him as I reached where he’s standing.

“Thank you, so do you have everything in your bag?” He asked me.

“Yeah, how about you?” I asked him and then he just nods at me while smiling.

“By the way, my manager told me that they are already on their way here so we just need to wait for them for a while.” He said while we are walking towards the couch to sit there.

“Oh, okay!” I said and then sits down on the couch and get my phone from my bag.

“Blaze, let’s capture some photos,” I said while showing him my phone.

“Oh, okay!” He said and then sits beside me so I immediately started to take some photos of us.

“HAHAHAHA, these are all so cute!” I said while looking at our photos.

“Lei, my manager told me that they are already here. Let’s go?” Blaze told me so I just nod at him and then put my phone inside my bag first before I stand up from the couch and head towards Blaze so we can walk together. As we head outside our house, I immediately saw the van that picked them up for the first day of their work.

“Hey there Blaze, good morning!” A lady in her 30’s head outside the van and walks towards us while waving her hand.

“Good morning too.” Blaze said and then the lady gets the bag from Blaze and then Blaze and I started to walk towards the van while his manager is walking behind us.

“She looks so pretty,” I whispered to Blaze as we head inside the van.

“Yeah, she’s pretty and she is also nice,” Blaze said which made me smiled because he has a good agency that’s handling him.

“Oh my goodness! Finally, after a long wait, I finally meet you, Lorelei!” Blaze’s manager told me like a teenager which made me smiled.

“Oh, it was my pleasure to meet you, ma’am,” I said which made her giggle.

“HAHAHA, you can just call me Ms. A, by the way, you are so pretty why you didn’t join Blaze to his audition before? You have a good chance to get cast because of your face.” Ms. A said which made me blushed.

“My girlfriend is kind of shy in front of the crowd but she is currently taking journalist because she wanted to be a writer and I promised you Ms. A her stories are superb!” Blaze said which made me blushed because of his exaggeration.

“Really? Do you have a copy with you?” Ms. A asked me but I just shake my head at her first before answering her.

“None Ms. A, my soft copies are on my laptop but if you want to read it I will send it to Blaze,” I said which made her smiled.

“That is good to hear then, if ever I will like it I can give it to my director, and maybe if he will like it, your story can get adapted to a series.” She said which made me smiled.

“That is wonderful Ms. A, I hope that you will like it,” I said while smiling.

“You truly are beautiful Lorelei, I hope that one day I can work with you if not an actress but maybe as the author of the book that our production will adapt into series.” She said while smiling at me.

“I am hoping the same thing, Ms. A,” I said.

“Oh, by the way, I am going to leave you both here because I need to talk to the endorsement company and inform them that we are already on our way.” Ms. A said so we just nod at her and then she heads towards the front part of the van.

“She’s nice,” I said to Blaze as Ms. A left.

“I told you, that is also the reason why she is so eager to meet you. I mentioned to her that you are a writer and your stories are superb so she told me that if you are willing to give your stories a go, you can send it to me so she can check it.” Blaze said while looking at me.

“But I feel like my stories are still lacking some elements and I guess it is not fit to be adapted into series,” I said which made Blaze frowned at me.

“What are you saying lacking some elements? It was so nice and perfect! I love the plot and the cliffhangers!” He said which made me smiled.

“Thank you, Blaze,” I said and then lay my head on his shoulder and hugged him. It took us an hour of traveling to arrived at the shooting place and the moment we arrived there the place is already set up.

“Good afternoon everyone! I am Blaze Wright I am looking forward to working with you!” Blaze said and then bowed in front of the staff.

“And who is this pretty lady beside you? Is she also one of our actresses Allis?” A man in his 40’s asked Ms. A referring to me.

“Ah, no Mr. Yoon she’s Blaze’s girlfriend.” Ms. A said and then they both looked at me.

“But she looks so pretty, you should be an actress too young lady.” Mr. Yoon said while walking towards me.

“Ah, but I am not a good actress Mr. Yoon,” I said while smiling at him awkwardly.

“But there are workshops, right? May I know your name?” Mr. Yoon asked me

“I am Lorelei Campbell, nice meeting you Sir,” I said and then bowed to him.

“And you also have a nice name, if ever you want to give it a try then just tell your boyfriend and we will immediately enter you to a workshop.” He said so I just nod at him and then after that, they started to prepare Blaze for his shooting. They started to fix his hair and also put some makeup on his face, after they finished preparing Blaze it looks like they have a short orientation for Blaze for his shooting and after that, they started the shooting. While watching Blaze act in front of a lot of cameras it feels like I am watching a different person. It was like I am watching a person that I never met before.

“CUT! That is so good Blaze, 5 minutes break, and also change the scene now!” The director said and then the staff immediately head towards Blaze to wipe his face and give him bottled water.

“Lei, how are you doing?” Blaze asked me while walking towards me.

“Everything’s good Blaze, by the way, you are so good Blaze! Your acting skills are just so superb!” I said while smiling at him.

“Really?” He asked me as he sits beside me.

“Yeah, I am not joking,” I said and then looked at him.

“You know what, the moment I became an actor there is one dream I have.” He said which made me frowned.

“Hmm, and what is it?” I asked him

“It is to act in the series where it is adapted from your story.” He said which made me smiled.

“That is also my dream Blaze, so promised me that you will stay an actor until I become a writer okay?” I said

“Yeah, I promised.” He said and then after that, the shooting started again. Blaze’s shooting lasted for the whole day and they just finished at exactly 8:00 in the evening. So that’s what being an actor be like.
