Amelia couldn't speak.
“My father alive?”
The stranger nodded.
“Yes.”
Alexander stepped forward.
“Where is he?”
The figure slowly removed his hood.
It was Daniel.
Amelia stared at him in shock.
“You knew?”
Daniel looked down.
“I discovered the truth years ago, but your father made me promise not to tell anyone until the right time.”

“Why would he hide from me?”
“Because someone was watching you.”

“The same person who changed the wedding contract.”

“Then take me to my father.”
