CHAPTER ONE - SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST When life is extremely beautiful, Rhyme Quazer is an absolutely perfect boy in the school of Madison highschool, he is a sporty genius handsome kind boy so girls really like him but behind that perfect boy they're seeing, there is parasuicide addict who wanted to see himself on a miserable situation that will haunt him forever.   Rhyme you're going to be late! come on!'' His older sister, Renesmae shooked his shoulder off to wake him up but it seems like Rhyme is still in deep sleep so she straighten her right leg up towards her brother's direction and kick his a*s out of the bed with force. Ahrgh! F*ck you!'' Rhyme swear as he held his back, Renesmae then uttered ''Go bath right now!'' and shut the door of his room. Despite falling down the floor and bowed looking at it, Rhyme made an unusual smile on his face...it was a smirk his been having since he fell off the bed. It doesn't even hurt'' He muttered under his breathe while he stood up to took a bath. After minutes he then got into the kitchen when Renesmae finish preparing the breakfast. Rhyme slowly slice the pancake into half while Renesmae stared at him with a suspiciousness on her face. ''You're a liar. I'm not yet late'' Rhyme started the conversation as Renasmae replied ''A model student has to woke up early in the morning and your classmates doesn't even know this about you. By the way...where did you go last night?''. I NEVER WENT OUTSIDE, MY DEAR SISTER''  The sentence Renasmae doesn't want to hear again coming out from his brother's mouth. Why can't he just tell me the truth? I knew his a big liar than me, she had in mind on what's happening but she couldn't ask no more because she doesn't have the guts too. When they finish breakfast, the two siblings then got into the car, Renesmae drove it---beside Rhyme whose looking outside from the window. The siblings are nine years apart, Rhyme is seventeen and Renesmae is twenty-five turning twenty-six and they don't have anything to talk to in life because of their age gap and probably the memories they grew up with. After an hour they arrived at the school, Renesmae dropped off Rhyme as she gave him an advice or rather a warning, ''Rhyme don't let me caught you'' and left. When the scenario leads to seriousness, Rhyme prefers to be cold and couldn't careless but when it's not about that topic...he seems to be fine and normal. He then walk to the campus and as usual people start staring at him, there glances are full of admiration and inspiration because Rhyme is what you call popular in school. When Rhyme reaches his classroom he stop for a moment to listen to his classmates conversation. I saw him. He really help that lady but there's something wrong about his arm. I can't really see it but it seems like it was cu---'' as Rhyme open the door everybody made a noise so the boy couldn't continue what his talking about. Everyone gathered infront of Rhyme to chat with him while he look at the boy with his astute eyes and wave at him with a bandage on the arm down to his finger tips.  LAST NIGHT was probably the most uncommon situation or incident Rhyme has handled for the past two years. He leaned on a dark alley to cut his arm with a knife that he always put on his pocket beside his sword. He didn't even flinch while doing it as the blood drip down to his elbow, he made a dull face as a sign of boredom.       What are you doing?'' Eurydice, his partner in crime asked on the earpiece to communicate with Rhyme when they are far away from each other.  You know I just wanna cut your tongue with a knife. Got the location?'' Rhyme replied as Eurydice continue to talk ''You're a creep but whatever on the west avenue, next to the boulevard. A giant lizard is attacking everyone using it's tail and it seems like the lizard is one of the neighbor's child, she is scared of it since she was young because her classmates use to put it in her bag or in her clothes. Her phobia is probably Herpetophobia where people are often afraid of reptiles''. Rhyme immediately run and climb onto a building to connect the line of the hook to another building by using a crossbow that's inside his bag so he took it out. Place it on the right direction and shoot it perfectly, he then made a zipline out of it and slide down to the another building. The giant lizard was caught in everyone's attention causing Rhyme to take the opportunity as he grasped hilt of his sword, jump and thrust it on the back of the lizard. ''You i***t! that lizard is still a human being! She still has a one percent chance to turn back into her original form'' Eurydice said out a sudden while the lizard is in pain and Rhyme just stand there. One percent...she told me about that mother f*cking multiple times but only one person change and went back to normal, the other ones die in my hands, just a few weeks battling with there phobias, Rhyme think through his mind. He then look around to form a conclusion on Eurydice's assumption, the giant lizard didn't kill or hurt yet the people around her but there's one more thing to prove that, she's trying to avoid the humans around based on the mess she made at the place and she didn't even struggle knowing that Rhyme is above her. Just like any other Murklin, she was consumed by her past traumas that lead her to a phobia. She was the first looking like Monster, Eurydice and Rhyme saw but she was also more less like a monster than the Murklins. She is still fighting on her mind, brain and soul despite the crawling lizard all over her while her bullies are laughing wih joy.  The poison on the sword will affect the lizard in any seconds but Rhyme now made up his decision and removed his sword from the back of it. He then jump onto the ground, tried to calm the lizard as it slowly turn back to her human form, after that Rhyme covered her with his black coat and left her while the police and ambulance came, not knowing his face.
