One night, as Luna was working late in the library, she heard a faint rustling noise. She turned to find a shadowy figure near the hidden chamber. Her heart raced, but the figure vanished before she could get a clear look.
The next day, Alexander and Luna increased their security measures, installing cameras and hiring additional staff to monitor the estate. They also reached out to experts in ancient curses and supernatural phenomena for advice.
During one of their consultations, an expert named Dr. Elara Monroe, who specialized in occult practices, visited the estate. She was intrigued by the history of the Volkov family and the recent disturbances.
“This is no ordinary threat,” Dr. Monroe said after examining the texts and symbols. “The curse may have been dormant, but something has awakened it. There may be a faction or an individual with knowledge of the old rituals who seeks to exploit this vulnerability.”
