"i***t's. I work with i***t's." Dr. William rested his head in his hands. The day before he had received a court order from Lusie's parents. He had been furious and seeing his lawyer today about it did not help. Police men that should be looking for the two who escaped were going to walk down these halls in about an hour. Dr. William had no choice since they would bring a warrant.
He looked over at the clock on the wall across from him. It was only four in the afternoon. It's going to be a long day, Dr. William thought to himself. His position as a doctor was on the line and he had to be professional when he wanted to be the opposite. If only Lusie had not escaped with his son than he would not be in this situation. He cursed the men that worked with him.
A knock sounded on his door that was left open a crack. Dr. William sat up and looked at Tom who stood in the entrance. He remembered the first time Tom had come into his business for a job. Tom had been overly quiet but too observant. It took awhile for Tom to be social with him. The bits Tom had told him surprised the Doctor by his knowledge. He could also see a passion to cure the unfortunate from their mental illness just as much as he did. Tom was not much for the surgery point but the rest of the treatments he could handle well.
"What is it?" Dr. William asked exhausted.
"I found something in one of the patient's room that I believe you should see." Tom replied in a lazy tone. That was usually his tone for everything.
He was intrigued. Usually whatever Tom would find in patients rooms were not something Tom would bring up unless it was unusual. Besides the pills that Lusie hide in a loose tile that Tom had found a couple weeks after they escaped. Dr. William had been annoyed but he had to give it to the girl for being cautious. They would have to remember that when the two were caught again. If the court didn't close him down before then.
"You have my attention. What did you find?" Dr. William motioned Tom forward. Tom closed the door before moving to take a seat in front of his desk. Tom rustled in his inside jacket pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper. The paper looked wrinkled and a tint of a yellow color. Dr. William had only seen paper like that in old sheets of book pages.
Without a word Tom unfolded the paper and then turned it facing the Doctor. Dr. William took the paper in his hands. He had not expected what meet his eyes as he read the fine printed ink handwriting.
You'll be free from this hell soon enough if you just give a sacrifice. Your time is running short Doctor. How long will you wait before coming to me for help? If you plead at 6:66 tonight I may send you a creature to help.
The Devil.
Dr. William swallowed the gulp stuck in his throat. The letter may seem like the devil was being considerate and offering help. However Dr. William knew all too well from past dealings with the Fallen Angel himself that it was a demand. He was being told to be by himself at that time and would plead forgiveness for letting his son, the sacrifice, escape. The doctor would have to fix this or else the devil would burn him in hell fire for ruining his plan to walk on the earth again.
Great, the Doctor thought to himself. Not only did he have to deal with the court shutting him down but now the devil was going to have his head. Dr. William did not have to question where or if the letter was real. He already knew it was. After the police left he would be in a worse situation than before.
"How many saw this?" He asked.
"Just us. It was in Angelica's room." Tom explained.
Dr. William's muscles relaxed. He knew a demon would leave it in a room where a patient would not look at it but in a place he would find. Most of the time that meant Angelica's room. She was kept restrained and blindfolded in a white room. She was not let out unless he gave her treatments and even then they kept her bound for safety reasons. While Jason had been demonic from possessions Angelica was violently demonic at night by herself. So when she had broken out of Toms hold one night as he was tightening her restraints they all had been called in. Little did they know she would attack Lusie.
"Thank you. Let's keep it that way. Is everything set for the police to investigate?" Dr. William asked casually underlining the question if the worst of the treatments been covered up to look like miner tools.
"Yes. As much as we could get done. Patients have also been given calming douses." Tom answered not taking his eyes off the Doctor. Though he noticed the Doctor moved the piece of paper in the secret drawer in his desk. Tom was not sure if the Doctor realized that he knew where and what was in his secret drawer. All the evidence the police would need was in it to commit the Doctor for his crimes. Luckily for the doctor Tom agreed with how he ran things here.
"Good. Let's go greet them at the front door shall we?" Dr. William said after he locked the drawer back into its secret slot. Him and Tom walked together to the front of the hospital. The doctor tried not to think about the note from the devil and just focus on the problem at hand.
There had been at least 10 police men that had walked the hospital halls earlier. Dr. William was mentally exhausted with all the explaining he had to provide with some over the treatments he used and why. Of course he gave the most factual answers that were in psychology articles anyone could find. He was not worried about it since the police men had not cuffed him at the spot. Dr. William knew they hadn't found the documents in the secret drawer because he checked a while after the police left.
Now with one problem faced and gone the Doctor was walking up to the 6th floor and down the hall to the farthest room. It had been the room he had chained his son to the wall and made the ritual for Jason to become the sacrifice. It was also where Dr. William had left Jason after the ritual for a week hanging on the wall. He remembered clearly how small Jason looked. Jason's head had been bent down when he had entered. Dr. William also remembered the skeleton structure of starvation Jason had been.
After the ritual Jason's eyes would flicker between his normal color and red. The red shade meant a demon would pass into his son and blood would spill. Dr. William would usually bring one of the severe patients with him while he visited his son just in case. When the demons would come the patients would be ripped apart just to hear the screams until they bleed to death. Afterwards Dr. William would watch as Jason came back and see the horrific expression he gave. He would send Jason into a white room after a month from the ritual. This gave the demons the chance to get control and manuvier Jason. It is what the devil wanted.
Dr. William had not been back in this room since. He has not bothered to clean the chains from the blood splatters or the tables with the ritual tools. There was still the devil summoning circle on the wood floor with each symbol. Dr. William did not need the circle because right at 6:66pm the Devil appeared in a cloud of dark smoke. He coughed as the smoke got into his nose.
The Devil laughed. Dr. William cringed as he heard the harsh deep vibration of the Devils laugh. It was a sound that made him quack in his stance and want to run as far away as possible. Once the smoke disintegrated into air Dr. William could see a tall black haired man with red shining eyes in its place. The Devil stood in the center of the circle and his black raven looking Angel wings were folded behind him. Fire lite the circled outline give Dr. William more light to see. The more he saw the more Dr. William wished to be as far away as possible. However no where was far away for the Devil to reach him.
Except heaven but Dr. William would never be going there for all the things he has committed.
"Your expression is the best doctor." The Devil's voice almost sounded like a song. "Are you afraid? You should be after letting the innocent Lusic slip Jason out of here. What shall I do with you?"
Dr. William opened his mouth to speak but hot air blew over him. A coughing fit attacked him instead and he knew the Devil did not want to hear the excuses. Dr. Williams eyes burned along with the rest of the room. He felt sweat creeping on his forehead and trail down his face. It was so uncomfortable hot like an oven. The doctor fanned the top of his shirt.
"Maybe I should bake you in an oven from hell. I do enjoy hearing the screams of the living burning. It's like a musical to my ears." The Devil paused in his speech to let the words sink in the doctors mind. Another way of torture was letting the victim run the scenario in their head. At first Dr. William did not hear the words just because he was more focused on the burning heat. As the words sank in however Dr. William stilled and his face turned pale.
"Please no." The doctors plead came out weak. The volume was just above a whisper. Terror filled the doctor as the image of being put in some type of oven like the h*******t victims filled his mind. "I can still find him and drag him back."
"Oh I hope so doctor because if you do not then I will gladly burn you alive and torture you myself in hell. To make sure you find them since I don't trust you Azza will be accompanying you." The Devil waved his hand and Azza appeared next to him.
Azza stood next to Satan with her black raven wings folded behind her. Her head was bowed and her hazel eyes were cast down. Dr. William took in her beauty. He had never seen such a fair women let alone demon before. Both her and Satan were on a whole different scale than the best looking humans on earth. Yet they were also the most dangerous. Dr. William just nodded because he had no choice. Azza was now involved in the hunt and Jason does not stand a chance against the fallen angel.
