08. Tyler's goodbye.

Hey My beautiful Lovies, thank you for your patience and love. I have fully recovered and I'm ready to be back and uploading.

Tyler was super bummed about the whole accident thing but it felt good to have friends such as Cee-Jay and the rest of the gang. His family was all sorts of supportive and they did the best they could, he was super sad though that not even once did Maddie come to visit him. Just when he was about to get discharged Cee-Jay came and told him that Maddie was going crazy from him being in the hospital for too long and that seemed to cure most of his bad moods and now that he was discharged and about to leave the country his best friend and wing man came with an absolute genius idea and his parents were down.

Since he was going away they thought it would be the best idea to throw Tyler a going away party and have Tyler's mom invite Maddie over. Of all the girls that Tyler has brought home Mr. and Mrs. Connors have never been ashamed to let Tyler know that their favorite was Maddie, even with that honor Maddie could never forgive Tyler for what he did. Tyler though was ignorant of his mistakes and all he said as an apology was that they were young and he didn't know any better back then and Maddie understood all of that except the part where he is still a d**khead as he was back in high school.

Mellissa Connors was having the time of her life organizing this party as soon as she heard that Maddie and Tyler will be getting back together, she was sad that it will be done over a long distance but this time she will keep her son in line and make sure he returns a man that will take care of Maddie in a way that she deserves to be taken care of. As for Maddie she was not at all enjoying her week since that invitation, which came with a fruit basket came to her door. The fruit basket was to wish her a belated birthday and the invitation was so she could come along with her mother to the party. She would have been okay if the invitation was sent to her only but now that her mom was also invited it meant that Maddie will be forced to go because her mother would never be so rude to decline an invitation even though Sara Briggs despises Tyler and his whole gang.

"Maddie we're going to be late for the party!"  her mom screamed at her for the hundredth time today  "well we wouldn't be so late if you let me wear what I wanted to wear!"  Maddie yelled back. Her mom had screamed at her for the entire two hours that they were getting ready, She rejected every outfit that Maddie wanted to wear even though it was everyday clothes that Maddie wore. "Stop complaining and hurry up."  Sara was waiting for her daughter to emerge wearing the outfit she had brought for her as an apology for ruining her birthday weekend and when she descended those stairs Maddie looked really good compared to what she usually wear.

"where is the dress I bought for you?"  Sara asked looking at her wearing one of her suits that she usually wears when she goes to work  "I'm not wearing a dress just to go to Tyler's party"  Maddie rolled her eyes at her mom stomping her feet so that her mom could notice that she was wearing her white Nike Air Forces 1.  "Maddie c-"   Maddie raised her hand to stop her mom from finishing that sentence  "Mom if you make me change this attire then you can go alone to that party, after all I didn't want to go."  she wasn't kidding, there was no way she was wearing a dress as if anything that involved Tyler meant something to her.  "Your know mom just wanted you to show your ex how good you looked without him"  Mindy commented walking to the couch with a big bowl of chips and a bag of chocolate chip cookies. Sara nodded in agreement with her youngest daughter  "He has to see what he has lost."  Sara tried to convince Maddie  "Mom he sees that everyday at college"  Maddie assured her mom  "Other wise we wouldn't be invited to his party."

They were thirty minutes late and while Sara panicked thinking about their rudeness Maddie couldn't even give a f**k, the party looked packed and lovely, it also looked like Cee-Jay and the gang were already having fun with the ladies.  "I thought you cancelled at the last minute."  Tyler slid with his wheelchair behind Maddie and she didn't need to turn around to make the face.  "I'm only here because Mellissa invited me and also because my mom wouldn't allow me to be rude to your mom."  Maddie told him the truth  "I know."  Tyler sighed and Maddie smiled after all it seemed Tyler still understood the hatred she  had for him and his squad  "Well I think it's time you let your friends know too."  Maddie made a suggestion  "do you really hate me that much?"  Tyler was hurt even though he was already used this because deep down in his heart when Cee-Jay dissed Maddie about her dressing up as a Leprechaun's puke and being bat sh*t crazy he really thought she was worried about him but it turns out something else was.

"Yes Tyler, I do hate you that much and I actually want the world to understand that so that they can stop calling me your girl"  she didn't hide her annoyance  "and no you don't deserve to use my name or our past relationship to keep the world thinking you still have game."  Maddie added as if she could read Tyler's mind and she shut him up.  "How is the reunion going?"  Cee-Jay had made way to the couple  "I will pour this wine on your stupid face."  Maddie threatened and Cee-Jay made a scared face  "Just leave my girl and tell me where jasmine is."  Tyler said trying to get Cee-Jay away from Maddie and Maddie was about to throw a fit until Tyler mentioned Jasmine.  "Ohh man don't remind me."  Cee-Jay clutched his heart obviously hurt  "I thought you had her."  Tyler remarked  "The w***e lied"  Cee-Jay looked pissed  "I don't think I will find her, I really think she doesn't want to be found"  Maddie was really surprised at the emotions she saw on Cee-Jay's face, she never thought that Cee-Jay would ever make that face.

She kept herself really close to them and watched as Cee-Jay went through changes of moods and emotions talking about her well jasmine at that  "she is just one girl"  Jace commented and Maddie waited for Cee-Jay to respond and Cee-Jay delivered by holding Jace by the collar  "She was not a girl you imbecile, Jasmine is a woman."  He exclaimed and Maddie almost spit her wine hearing those words about her.  "I'm going to wait for her this coming Friday where we met and if she doesn't show up I guess there will be no more Jasmine talk."  Cee-jay declared and Maddie relaxed and sighed in relief knowing that soon Jasmine will die. Even though it was clear that Cee-Jay had no clue that she was Jasmine the thought that he was searching religiously for her made her uncomfortable and really anxious.  "hey Maddie."  Mellissa stood before Maddie with a smile and Maddie's smile died down as she realized that the person she had been avoiding all party long had finally caught up to her which means they were about to have an uncomfortable talk about her relationship with Tyler.
