Silver Lining

Pakkkk, "ouchhhh, please enough, I'm sorry, I couldn't stop myself from being sleepy, you know that I am pregnant." Jill cried. But Greco is so angry that he kicks the wood trunk and shouts at the pregnant woman. "All you have to do is wait for me here and prepare lunch for us." Jill was hurt when Greco slapped her face. Her cheeks became red. She told Greco, "I always wake up early to cook breakfast for everyone here, then do the laundry and clean the house, then cook your meals. I was so tired that's why I couldn't help myself from being sleepy. Don't get mad, please, it won't happen again." But Greco is very hard-headed and didn't listen to her explanation. He left Jill and went to the kitchen. Jill followed her husband even if she was in pain. She served the food to Greco and he looked at Jill with disgust and contempt, then said, "what are you waiting for? Do I have to feed you?" Jill was not able to reply and kept silent, then sat down and ate her food. Her lips were sore but she had to endure the pain so that Greco would not be angry anymore. After they finished their lunch, his anger subsided and he approached his wife. He is back to his normal self again. Greco has some anger issues. "I'm so sorry sweetheart, I swear I did not intend to do that, it's just that I'm so hungry and I waited so long for you to open the door. Please forgive me", then he kissed Jill on her forehead. Jill is very understanding and has a soft heart. " It's okay but don't do that again. You know that I'm pregnant. What is gonna happen to our child next time you do that?" Then Greco hugged his wife and told her to rest, now that his mother was in the city. They went to their bedroom and took a rest. Jill was twenty-one when she got pregnant, while Greco was three years younger than her and a mama's boy.
