Chapter 3

Clary’s POV

While I was doing shots to get my mind off everything I felt strange like something creepy and cold was watching me. I looked round and couldn’t see anyone I didn’t know and no one was watching me so I brushed it off. Grabbing a bottle of vodka I walked to the far end of the field to be alone or so I thought until a voice spoke to me sending chills down my spine “hello princess” the voice I slowly turned round and came face to face with those chocolate brown eye I once loved “LUUKKEE” I stuttered before I could run or scream I felt a pinch in my neck everything went black.

Jace’s POV

 As I was talking to Alex I told Edward and Chase to keep an eye on Clary and not to leave her alone they didn’t know Luke was going to come back for her sooner or later

 “I didn’t know you were twins when your dad introduced us I thought u was her beta, because I have never known of a dual leadership” Alex said sounding sorry for himself in his voice.

 “Dude she is my sister and right now I need to keep her safe as she said there is stuff you don’t know and you being her mate I might as well tell you she is in danger” I said frustrated that he pulled me to one side and I am not by her side to keep her safe.

 “What do you mean she is danger? Who wants to hurt my mate?” Alex said starting to angry and fighting his wolf to stop ripping everyone’s head off who was at the party. I started explaining everything that happened with Luke and how this all happened 2 years ago and how she was still scared and I have only just got my own room back after sleeping every night in her room when a drunken voice broke our conversation

 “HEY BBAABBYY” Rena said slurring her words I rolled my eyes

“Don’t ever call me that again now leave” I ordered her using my alpha voice she just bowed her head and walked away. Chase mind linked me “Jace is Clary with you” Chase said sounding worried.

 “Alex, we need to go something as happened” I said looking at Alex

“WHAT IS GOING ON” Alex shouted because I didn’t say what was going on I ran towards Chase who was trying to find her.  “WHAT HAPPENED I ASKED BOTH OF YOU TO WATCH HER YOU KNOW LUKE IS STILL OUT THERE” I shouted at both of them as I was started to get angry and about to lose control “Dude she was at the drinks table doing shots” Edward said with a shaky voice. We heard a scream my eyes shot up looking for who just screamed when a girl came running close Chase wrapped his arms round her “MINE” he said I was shocked I have never seen her before I walked up to her and saw Chase looking aggressive towards me “what is the matter? Why are you screaming for? What is your name?” I asked trying to show Chase I am not going to harm his mate at all. “I saw a man never seen him before I think he is a rouge taking Clary I think he hurt her because she looked dead at the far end of the field” she said shaking uncontrollably. Alex growled that loud that the music stopped my anger took over and Hunter my wolf took over running as I jump I shifts in mid-air Alex was running besides me. That is when we saw him with a smirk on his face it was Luke with Clary in his arms.  “Hunter, we need to stop him” I said to him “I know what to do he isn’t going to take her anywhere” Hunter replied as he ran full speed. In a blink of an eye he was gone with Clary in his arms but he wasn’t alone 20 rouges came out of the woods to the field in wolf form. Me and Alex attacked first followed my Chase and Edward, I had informed Bella to get everyone back to the pack house and inform my dad of Luke’s return.

 We killed all but one rouge who was injured and took him to the cells, Alex and I followed “Chase follow her sent and keep me informed if you find anything” I said to him, Chase bowed his head and ran towards the woods

 Once in the cells the rouge was chained up, he looked young about 16 years old “What is your name” I asked using my alpha voice, his head slowly turned to me and looked in my eyes “Dominic” he said with a painful voice. “Why did you come here for” I asked him not understanding how a young kid can be messed up in this. “I have been on the run from my previous alpha and I was hiding in the woods just across your border when I heard all them rouges and there plan I was waiting till morning to speak with your alpha about joining” Dominic said I saw all the sorrow on his face “Do you know where they have taken my mate” Alex finally saying controlling his anger

 “Yes, they are heading north towards my old pack but they have made decoys to confuse you” Dominic said with determination in his voice.

“Right well we need to make a plan and you done well kid thanks, let him down” I finally said Alex looking deep in thought as we walked to dad’s office.

Chase’s POV

We heard a scream my eyes shot up looking for who just screamed when a girl came running close I wrapped my arms round her “MINE” I said Jace was shocked I have never seen her before Jace walked up to her and saw me looking aggressive towards him “what is the matter? What is your name?” Jace asked trying to show me that he is not going to harm my mate at all. “I saw a man never saw him before I think he is a rouge taking Clary I think he hurt her because she looked dead at the far end of the field” she said shaking uncontrollably. I mind linked her “what is your name?” I say with all the love in my voice “Cammie what is yours?” Cammie replied “Chase I have to go be safe” I replied running off towards the north to find Clary and get her safe, i felt guilty as myself and Edward was meant to keep an eye on her. I hope she will forgive me for my foolishness she is my best friend we are all family the four of us. Luke i swear to the moon goddess u lay one dirty finger on her it will not just be Jace u need to worry about, Edward and I will be right behind him.
