Chapter 4

Clary’s POV

Everything was dark I screamed to find I was all alone in an endless area of darkness, I heard a voice but not sure who’s voice it wasn’t familiar with was saying my name calling me in a sweet and loving way

 “Clary” unknown voice said as I ran towards it “Clary over here” called as I was getting to the voice, “who are you” I finally asked “Clary don’t you remember me?” the voice asked me she looks familiar but I didn’t know her name. “Clary my name is Emily your mom’s twin sister” Emily said she looked like mom but her eyes were purple in colour, with silver hair long and curly. I just looked at her in shock finally able to get my thoughts together “where am I? Am I dead? What is going on” I asked nervous at what is going on tears slowly coming down my cheeks that I didn’t know was there at first “Clary you are a special I don’t have long to explain every detail, me and your mom are vampires, when she met your dad she was the first to have hybrid children no one knows how different you are Luke gave you something that normally weaken your wolf but you don’t have their weakness or vampires weakness either. I came to tell you to wake up and don’t mention this to anyone only your mom and dad will be able to give you the answers and keep calm we are all coming for you” Emily said before heading towards the darkness. I fell to the floor darkness consuming me which I allowed.

Emily’s POV

 I went to my best friend Penelope she is a very good witch of our time, my sister Rose called me telling me that Clary was kidnapped, Rose and Rhys never got to tell her about her powers that she will be receiving after 18th birthday. Once I got to Penelope’s lodge I knocked on the door “Penni I need your help please let me in” I said in a begging tone in my voice, she finally opened the door and looked at me with worry in her eyes “Em what are you doing here” Penni asked me concerned as we talk on the phone and normally meet half between her home and mine.

“My niece she is a hybrid but she has been kidnapped I need your help to send me to her so I can tell her what she needs to do please I know it’s a lot to ask of you” I asked getting desperate as every minute she will start to get worried and anger will set in and she will not be able to control it.

“Come in this will take a few minutes and I will get the location at the same time” Penni said with hopefulness in her voice which calmed me down.

Once the spell was done I called Rhys and Rose to tell them I have told her about her gifts and she is not show them.

Jace’s POV

Dad had order everyone besides Alex and I out of the office, I looked at him confused and sat in the chair while Alex stood leaning against the wall with no emotion on his face finally dad looked up at us

“what I’m about to tell you is going to come as a shock” he said I could see all the conflict in his eyes

“Dad what is going on, we need to find Clary” I said getting annoyed as we sit around Alex still standing in his own thoughts “You and your sister are hybrids half wolf and vampire you both have no weaknesses” dad finally said looking at the floor, I can’t get my mind round it I shifted into my wolf when I was 9 years and so did Clary. This happens to future alphas, I stand and pace back and forth trying to understand this information I finally walk out of the office and head to the woods I shift and head north to find that peace of s**t just to kill him.

Clary’s POV

I finally wake up in a room the light is dimmed, I have sliver chains to my ankles and wrists when I move there is no pain which you would normally get. When Luke walks in I make out it hurts just so he will never know, his eyes fixed on me black full of lust as if he wanted to take me like this which makes me feel sick and just keep hoping everyone will hurry up.

“Come on princess, I've missed you so much we can finally make our life together like I always promised” Luke said with disillusion in his voice, I just looked at him with confusion on my face I have no words to express to him. “Princess I told your father I would be coming for you” He said again this time I was shocked and my thoughts came back to the fact that Chase, Jace and Edward didn’t leave me on my own is the reason. “W-wwhat” I finally voiced shacking I can feel my anger taking over but I need to control myself. “You are MINE no one will be able to have you” he spat at me starting to get angry with me, if I wasn’t tied up I would be the weak girl he remembers and I would be able to take him out myself.

“We need to get out of here” Stella said in my head

“I know but we can’t show him our other powers” I voiced to her as Luke keeps talking and I’m no longer listening to him because he full of bullshit!!

“Luke can you undo my hands please they hurt so much” I said in a begging tone

He snaps his head towards me with something I don’t recognise in his eyes but then a sickening smirk comes on his face

“Princess if I undo them you will get free and run away and I don’t want to let you go” He says in a controlling way

“I won’t escape I promise” I say thinking to myself once you leave I’m leaving anyway

“I will when I come back, I have a meeting first I will be back in an hour” Luke says with pride in voice and happiness on face.

 Luke walks out the room and locks the door I can hears his footsteps walking away from the door, this is my chance I break my hands free and my ankles. I stumble to the window and look out we are in the middle of nowhere, I open the window and look out to make sure there is no one around which to my delight it is clear and I think to myself how stupid are you Luke. I jump out of the window and run straight into the woods and hide behind a tree.

Luke’s POV

I walk out of the room locking the door behind me as I don’t trust these rouges with my princess she will only be allowed out of that room with me at her side. I walk into my office to have my meeting with alpha Emmitt to discuss how to take down our enemies. “Emmitt my friend who we shorting out this time” I say happy to be involved in hoping it is my old pack Blood moon pack. “We are not attacking anyone this time my warriors need to rest” Emmitt says with sadness in his eyes I thought he be happy after how many packs we have taken down.

“What is wrong with you thought you be happy with our success” I say with anger rising at how pathetic he as become. “Luke, we need to stop before anyone else gets hurt, I’m leaving this madness with you” he spat, anger in his eyes and stood up to intimidate me, I just smirked at him as my high rank rouge ran in the office

“Luke I’m sorry to interrupt your meeting but she has gone the room is empty” He said looking at the floor with his head bowed

Anger rises within me she couldn’t have left she was tied up “HOW DID SHE ESCAPE” I shout as my wolf is pushing through I storm out the office and walk to the room.

Clary’s POV

I hide behind a tree and take my clothes off and shift into my wolf she is pure white with violet eyes. I pick my clothes with my mouth and run deeper into the woods heading south, “do you know which way to go” I link with Stella “We are a day’s run from the pack” she said hopeful. Our senses at there highest hearing for rouges or even him coming after me all I could do was make sure my scent was masked. The full moon light was shining bright and to my surprise I saw mint growing wild, I ran straight to it and rolled around in it. This will definitely cover my scent so no one can smell me out. I pushed out of my happiness by hearing branch snap, weighing up my options I look around fast what if I’m out numbered I know I can take three down on my own, but not knowing how many rouges Luke had made me look for somewhere to hide and fast so I ran till I found a water fall with a cave hidden behind I made my way in quickly. I watched and waited but didn’t see anything,

I tried my mind link to get touch with Jace “Jace are you there please answer me” I begged him to with everything I had

I was surprised when I heard “Clary where are you” Jace said will worry in his voice I explained about the water fall and the hidden cave and how I heard the branch snap have got in here “Clary don’t worry Alex is with me Chase is already nearby stay there” Jace said, the bond I have for Alex was growing the closer he got which made Stella happy “Mate is coming not far away now Luke will be sorry to mess with us” she said.

I’m in the cave waiting for the guys to come when I see a wolf by the river having a drink and I wonder if its Chase as he was in front of the others “Chase is that you having a drink at the river” I asked worrying if I should show myself in case he couldn’t find me  “No I can see the wolf, its Luke stay down don’t make a move” Chase said in a comforting tone which helped me

“Clary we are close Chase as told us about Luke stay where you are please” Jace said worried he knows I will protect my family, friends, pack and now my mate.

“Chase do you see any others” I ask confident in my plan of setting a trap if I can

“Yes, he is alone, why? What are you thinking” Chase saying curious to what my plan would be “I’m going to shift back into my human form, you need to tell Jace, Alex and the others to treat this a hunt please. I can’t let you all hurt yourselves for me” I say calmly with worry in my voice.

“I will explain now” Chase following my orders

“Jace I will not be able to reply but my link will be open so keep talking to me ok” I say to Jace confident I need to face my fear

I shift back put my dress on and jump out of the cave and land in the river, I come back up for air, Luke came to where I was with a sadistic smile on in face, with anger in his eyes. He grabbed me by my hair out the water to show he was in charge I could hear everyone and knew they was in place, once he had me on the grass I just looked him straight in the eyes when a sharp sting came right across my cheek. I clenched my fists, “Clary, you stupid b***h, how did you get out? Who let you go?” Luke said spitting at me. I looked as if I was thinking of my words to say in reply when I ended up punching him right in the nose.

Jace and Alex came running out as Alex jumped on Luke with his hand round his neck and pinned him to the floor, Jace came to my side “Shall we go home we have a lot to talk about” Jace said with relief in his voice. Edward and Chase took Luke to the dungeon.
